My hair was thin underneath at the sides and hadn’t grown for ages, all about an inch long, the rest was long and reasonably thick.

Results:

Haven’t finished testing this yet, three months is the minimum it takes to see the first shoots of new hair, but these sides bits of hair have grown into three inch long ringlets. My partner who has a slightly receding hairline says his …

Me: very dry & v pale, yellow based ivory neutral skin.

Been using this since my teens to keep lip liner in place. However recently tried it on my face to set Nars ‘radiant, creamy concealer,’ then remembered, I used to use it on my face too until I became beguiled by more sophisticated seeming, expensive powders, Laura Mercier etc etc.

Result:

I’ve just discovered …

Treatments (Face) - Unlisted Brand - Revolution Beauty 1% Bakuchiol Serum

They say this Bakuchiol is wonderful as a replacement for tretinoin for those that can’t use tretinoin. I can and do use tretinoin but decided to try this Bakuchiol as it can be used in the day, calms inflammation, eases dryness and so on plus of course has tretinoin like effects.

Me: dry skin, sensitive, rosacea prone.

Result: this really seems to have just the effect of …

Schizo hair, dry, straight, fine & thick, ringlets, waves, curls. Am trying all the Palmer’s shampoos, looking for the best suited to my hair.

Am only used to all natural shampoos & co-wash so this creamy pearly liquid seemed to lather just by my smiling at it. It smelt lovely, cocoa butter and peppermint and yes my scalp tingled from the mint. It all rinsed out very easily. I …

Shampoo - Palmer's - Olive Oil Formula Smoothing Shampoo

5.0
Created with Sketch.

My hair: dry, thick but fine, long, wavy, straight and ringlets, schizophrenic hair.

I recently decided to trial some of the Palmer’s shampoos, without conditioner, I don’t like faffing, the shampoo must show me what it can do on its own first and this smoothing olive oil shampoo left my hair soft, moisturised, shiny and swishy plumped with volume.

I knew the matching co-wash …

...And I love this cream too...

Me: very dry, sensitive skin plus rosacea prone, using tretinoin.
Am using the dry to very dry skin formula.

Using this to help negate the drying effects of tretinoin 0.05 and it does help. I wish it didn’t include silicone but it does moisturise well, am in the first week of tretinoin 0.05 use and am layering this cream with hylamide …

Treatments (Face) - Deciem - Hylamide SubQ Anti-Age

My skin had been wizened by trying a retinol that seemingly destroyed the skin barrier and skin wouldn’t stop wizening and ribbing, far worse than wrinkles appeared.

I tried buffet and the with copper variety and comparing it to hylamide anti-age sub etc & god knows what, I prefer the god knows what hylamide. My skin looks refreshed and much more moisturised. My skin looks better …

Skincare - Body - Elizabeth Arden - 8 hour cream Skin Protector

5.0

My skin: was drier than the Sahara which was causing grooves, not wrinkles, grooves in my skin, like a ribbing, for first time in life. Skin was so dry it felt taut and uncomfortable all the time.

Tried the richest, expensive face creams but skin continued to shrivel and remained very dry. ( I had tried a brand of retinol and it clearly had done something awful to my skin which continued to worsen despite not using it anymore).

Tried this Liz Arden skin protectant, didn’t expect much with petrolatum etc. Have been using this on my face all winter, the shrivelling has stopped, even able to use tretinoin because of this lovely balm. My skin has always been way too dry for tretinoin, or was but by using this balm daily am able. I use this like goss the makeup …
