I love the concept of an in shower lotion. I have tried 2 other brands and loved the results. I figured this one would be no different. Well....I didn't read the directions. I thought it was like the other brand in my shower(Jergens) where you just apply after your shower. But this one you apply during your shower and rinse off. UGH. It left my shower floor slippery no matter how much …Read more
I found this at Nordstrom Rack so I cannot complain about this price($8). If I were to have paid full price for this I would have been upset. This feels like half melted wax when applying. It isn't easy to apply and get an even coverage. You have to work at it. I used a flat top brush and that seemed to be the best way so far. I just really do not like this stuff though. I want to …Read more
I was given a sample of this at Sephora recently. I like full coverage foundations with Kat Von D Lockit being my current favorite. The sales associate said to try this one too.
The color match was good and it did cover well. It went on feeling very dry. The first day I applied it with a foundation brush(which I use daily) and it streaked badly. The 2nd day I applied it with a beauty …Read more
I have fine, thin, straight hair. I am always looking for a new volumizing product. My HG is Sexy Hair Concepts Root Pump Plus. I always have a can of that on hand but I like to try new things from time to time.
I saw this and checked reviews before I bought it. I did not buy the shampoo or conditioner. I am currently using Joico K-Pak and won't buy anything else until that is …Read more
This might work ok but I just can't get past the strong scent. I had to throw it out. At first it was ok but the more I used it the sicker I got of the scent. I think I used it a total of 4 times before I threw it out. It smells like that old school Bath and Body Works raspberry fragrance so if you like that one you'll like this.
I got this in the color Maui. It is seriously like spreading bronze colored foil on your face. It's not glittery it's straight up metallic. I can't use it. It looks so odd. I thought I applied it too heavily so I tried again several times with different brushes but that didn't help. It was super cheap so I didn't lose out on too much money. I can't recommend. …Read more
This is a decent setting powder. I like that it is colorless. I feel like powders with color tend to change my foundation color. This feels super smooth going on, almost too smooth. It tends to make everything it touches slippery. I learned this the hard way! The packaging isn't the greatest and a lot came out at once and got all over my makeup case. When I went to pick up a brush it …Read more
I have super, super oily skin. This doesn't keep me matte any longer than any other average powder I have tried. It isn't bad but I'm just not impressed. I do like the price though. It's super cheap and lasts awhile. The packaging sucks. This is the least portable pressed powder ever. And isn't portability the whole point of a pressed powder?
I got a sample of this in a magazine. I am always up for trying out new primers. I have oily skin so I am on the look-out for something that will make my makeup last longer.
This product went on nicely. It felt very smooth and I liked how it looked when first applied. It's the normal silicone primer feel but with something else in it. My skin looked nice with this on even w/out …Read more
