I have horrible hereditary bags under the eyes which have just increased with age until I always look tired and sad.
I don't know about anyone else over a certain age but it does get irritating when you are constantly being asked what is wrong or whether you are tired!
Anyhoo-the upshot is that in my advanced age I have become an eyecream junkie. I have tried a lot of very expensive …

BB Cream - MISSHA - M Perfect Cover BB Cream SPF 42 PA+++

I bought this in shade 21. I was perplexed about which shade to buy as there were only 2 available at the time-this one and 23 and they both looked a bit weird.
This one looked less weird so I took a punt. The price was right so that if I screwed up I wouldn't cry myself to sleep at night.
When I first pumped it out of it's tube (which is a great design IMHO) it looked grey and …

After being so excited about the effects of the Placenta eye patches I have decided to try out other Korean eye patch brands-they are all under $20 AU so it isn't an expensive experiment as long as I pace myself.
I was extremely disappointed in these ones-they are quite thick compared to the Placenta patches and quite dry. They really don't do much either. Neither negative nor …

Treatments (Face) - Unlisted Brand - The Ordinary - Retinol 1% in Squalane

Once again I was sucked into The Ordinary hype.
As my skin is really improving with the regular use of Timeless serums I thought I might go one step further and try Retinol. The Ordinary came to the top of the list of affordable retinol serums with a concentration high enough to actually do something.
I used my regular two Timeless Serums, my collagen serum (the jury's out on that …

I have been using the Timeless Vitamin C Serum for some months now and have noticed a dramatic improvement in my facial lines so I decided to try some other products from their range.
I bought this Matrixyl Synthe 6 Serum, another Matrixyl Serum and the eye cream.
I used both the Matrixyl Serums for a while-one in the evening and one in the morning until I dropped the bottle containing …

Cleansers - Unlisted Brand - Eaoron Makeup Remover Balm

After having become a Korean skincare junkie I decided to do the Korean double cleanse thing.
Initially I did think it was overkill and a way to sell more products and that one cleanse was surely enough. But the results speak for themselves.
I purchased this Eaoron cleansing balm from my local Chemist Warehouse at half price. It is a big jar and the packaging looks quite expensive which …

I love these little babies! They come in a nice jar with a little spatula which you must not throw away as it is quite difficult to seperate the patches. You get a lot of serum in the jar so each patch is quite saturated. Unlike other eye patches I had no trouble with these sliding over my face even when I was upright for any length of time. They really stay put-even overnight if you aren't …Read more

Treatments (Eye) - Timeless Skin Care - Hydrating Eye Cream

Like 99.9% of eye creams did absolutely nothing to minimise eye bags, crepiness or brighten up eye area.
Did however pill under makeup no matter how sparingly applied. On the upside no irritation but if it doesn't do anything else what's the point?
Another waste of money eye cream. Sigh.

Lash Treatments - Etude House - All Finish Mascara Cleaner

The holy grail of stubborn long wearing waterproof mascara removers.
I have been using the Dr Mascara lengthening primer which is almost impossible to remove by any other method.
Two swipes of the comb with this product, waited less than a minute then cleansed as usual with my Earon Makeup Remover balm then Neutrogena with soap and water, no rubbing, no stinging. No mascara left! I have …

Hair Removal - Nair - Leg Mask

Let me start by saying that I have had disastrous experiences with chemical hair removal products in the past. It was with extreme trepidation, and only after thorough research, that I decided to try this product.
I followed the instructions to the letter but left the cream on for the maximum time.
The result was hair free legs which lasted about 6-8 weeks until another treatment was …
