I just wanted to say that AT FIRST, I loved this foundation. I bought several bottles of it and would mix shades because I liked it so much. It wore all day for me and was almost full coverage. Then something happened. I had taken a break from it. When I came back to it, my face became swollen beyond belief! You almost couldn't see my eyes because my cheeks had swollen so big and my face …Read more

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I read the reviews here, but was still a bit skeptical. I wanted a cheaper alternative to Revlon Colorstay when I just want to run out the door or go to the park with my child. I bought #400 as I have a tan (natural) skin color --- it fits almost perfectly. Great coverage and easy to blend. Lasts a loooooong time and looked great all day …Read more

Hair - Unlisted Brand - Great Lengths Hair Extensions

I have never tried Great Lengths Hair extensions, but I DO wear taped in hair wefts. I would never do a fusion or even micro bead install because they are not great for fine hair. As they grow out, they pull on the root of the hair and if you don't comb really carefully, they will pull your hair out. This would be better for coarser hair types.

If you want to try hair extensions …

TIP: DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT WITHOUT FOLLOWING UP WITH A MOISTURIZING TREATMENT. I mean it!!! LOL. Same as any other protein treatment; this works way better with a moisturizing conditioner afterward since the hair will be slippy and soft. I really like this. It's fantastic and effective for the price. Very much like Nexxus Emergencee, although I think the Nexxus is still a bit more …Read more

Love everything about this; from the packaging to the product itself. It is silky feeling. Could not believe how easily my foundation just slipped on after I applied it. It helped my foundation/blush to last all day and it looked fresh even at the end of the day. I will buy another one of these to have as backup! I'm so glad I tried this. Don't usually care about primers. Remember: use …Read more

The very reasons the other posters hated this lipstick are the reasons I loved it! Ripe Rose is like a neutral on my skin tone. I am tanned-looking (Caribbean decent). This is the colour I choose if I want to have neutral lips with just a hint of pink to them. It is wonderful, emollient lipstick --- you almost don't need balm underneath. Great packaging and price. You can't beat these …Read more

Whether you are naturally ash brown, medium brown or dark blonde, your hair will go warm if you lighten it. Everyone who says they 'pull' red so easily, it is because you will always go through a red/orange stage before yellow/blonde. I have Level 2 dark brown/almost black natural hair colour that I lighten to Level 10 blonde! You can imagine all the stages of colour I see. I pretty …Read more

This is a great conditioner. My boyfriend bought some for me for my birthday and I wasn't really expecting much. I remember when it was the 'it' conditoner years ago. Haven't heard much about it lately. I use a lot of other deep conditioners (eg. L'oreal Nature's Therapy, Kerastase, Joice Moisture REcovery) and like most of them. I noticed with the Terax (like a …Read more

Hair Treatments - No Brand (DIY or homemade) - Homemade Olive Oil Hair Serum

Jan/01/2010

OK, I have to say this: olive oil is great, BUT, I don't think it should be used as serum. The heat of a flat iron will cause the oil to sizzle and boil your hair cuticle. Not a good idea. What is better, is to add the oil (small amount) to a dime size dallop of serum (any one will do). This will turn it into something like Moroccan oil and make it a treatment for the hair. Or, of course …Read more

I have to say that it is so difficult rating something that is so personal and subjective. Every perfume will not smell the same on every body. We must remember this in our reviews. I agree with just about everyone's take on this perfume, but it smell beautiful on ME! LOL! I love it. The bottle does look cheap (to me), but the scent is similar to L de Lempika, which I adore. The price is …Read more
