Mascara - Unlisted Brand - Ardency Inn PUNKER unrivaled volume and curl lash wax

There was a lot of buzz about this mascara, which is now harder to find it seems. It's not supposed to be a traditional mascara, rather a lash wax. Surprising. It didn't perform like a wax, rather a dryer formula of mascara- which is my preference. I actually liked it a lot. I've had a heck of a time finding a mascara since Mally's Volumizing (the regular non-waterproff …Read more

I haven't picked up in sparkle in this lippie as others have reviewed. On me, NC 35-37 (summer) it's an absolute staple which I wear almost daily.

Over time my lips have lost pigment. This is the same color as my youthful lips; hence a YLBB and holy grail status. Let's put it this way. I always have a full back-up & have gone through at least 6 or 7 tubes since …

Contour - Sleek MakeUP - Face Contour Kit

Living in the U.S. I found this in shade medium on eBay. Fair price, equivelent to the Sleek website. On my NC35 skin I find the contour less than natural looking- especially when slenderizing the nose. I'll stick with my Bobbi Brown Taupe eyeshadow for the nose area and Elf split pan of contour/highlighter for other areas of my face. I love the look created by chiseling the features. …Read more

Eye Primer - Tarte Cosmetics - Lifted™ Natural Eye Primer with Firmitol™

Sadly this primer was a holy grail for me. I don't have wrinkly eyelids, but at my age the smoothing effect was perfect. Some eye shadows make your eyes look older than your bare lid. It beats the primers out that dry out the lids. I'm using Lorac's Behind the Scenes, but my heart is stiil with Tate's Lifted as my fave of all time. This seems to be the law of averages; …Read more

I bought this a while ago, gave it a try.. and honesty don't remember my first impression. Kind of sad but I went through a lot of illness in 2012. I've been looking for my holy grail foundation.. Purple Labs Silk Sheets in Tan (which is really a medium) and of course it's been d/c'ed. I just hate that. Silk Sheets was the most perfect skincare foundation I've ever …Read more

This foundation isn't for everyone. I'd say oily girls might want to stay away. For me, I couldn't be more delighted. I travel often and the small jar footprint sans sacrificing amount of product couldn't be better. The consistency is rich and creamy... the coverage can be light to full depending on application. I use a foundation stippling brush and adjust coverage where …Read more

First let me say I was blessed with makeup optional skin. (Thanks Mom!) I prefer a light to medium coverage with a natural skin finish- in other words, NOT totally matte that looks unnatural IMO or anything too dewy. I have normal to dry skin in winter. The key for me has been a fairly high strength AHA followed by my usual potions to bay any dry patches & keep my skin normal even in …Read more
