After a good decade of using Clinique products, I'd have to rate the Long Last Soft Shine Lipsticks as my favorite of the lip products. There is nothing wrong with their other lip products - Different Lipstick, Almost Lipstick, Chubby Stick - but the only one with absolutely no odor whatsoever is the Long Last Soft Shine.
I wanted to like it, but I ended up throwing it away after
a few uses. It made my under-eye circles MORE
puffy and eventually gave me small white bumps.
This is my second-favorite mascara by Clinique. My favorite is Lash Doubling by Clinique. Lash Doubling has a more watery formula and tends to last longer in the tube, so thus my preference for it. High Impact mascara, although tending to clump sooner in the tube, does make lashes look more numerous....visibly thicker where the lashes meet the lid/skin. It tends to last up to about two years …Read more
I have a sample of this which I used on half of my face and compared to Clinique's Even Better SPF 15 foundation. They feel and smell the same. Minimal odor but identically greasy to the touch. The BB just has a bit more shine to it, likely due to the metallic ingredient concentration (pardon my laziness to go look at the tube for exact names) being twice as high in order to make the SPF …Read more
I am reviewing the Neutral Territory duo, which has only the darkest colour and lightest colour that the 8-pack had. Somebody below described this shade well.........coral/russet. It is neither too far on the side of a cool berry-red nor too far on the other side of just plain brown. I actually don't see too much shimmer, even though there apparently is a hint of shimmer in Clinique's blushing blush versus Clinique's soft-pressed blushes, which are supposed to have none at all. I'm …Read more
This one didn't work for me, although most of Clinique's Different Lipsticks work well for me.
It is bubble gum pink, which is fun. But....the metallic pearl finish looks too 1980s. Or from modern culture, think of Dalia from TV's "Suburgatory".
This is a nice colour. The colour pay-off is definitely there, so don't be too heavy-handed with your brush. It is not as dangerously-pigmented as Frankly Scarlet or Fever, thus there is a bit of room for error. Like all of the matte blushes from MAC, there is nothing sparkly in the product, so looks like true skin colour instead of product on your face.
