As a very pale redhead, it can be hard to find a lipstick that looks natural. I imagine anyone on the extreme side of the skin tone spectrums can relate. I'm very picky with formulas too. If it smears, wears off, makes my lips dry, accumulates in creases, etc... I'd rater just skip it (goodbye 90% of lip products). All of that being said, I love the Vice Lipstick line from UD and 1993 …Read more

Dry Shampoo - TRESemmé - Fresh Start Dry Shampoo for Oily/Straight to Normal Hair

I picked up a bottle of this dry shampoo because I didn’t take the time to look into which brand I wanted to try and didn’t want to waste a lot of money… At least I only wasted a little money - this is the worst dry shampoo I’ve used. Needless to say, I’m on Makeupalley today to put the time into finding a better option.

I have red hair and it leaves a white cast if I don't …

BB Cream - MISSHA - M Perfect Cover BB Cream SPF 42 PA+++

Feb/17/2013

I bought Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream (No.13) in the 20ml. Travel Size for $13 ($9 + $4 shipping on Amazon). There are counterfeit versions of Missha that come from China. To be 100% sure that I was buying a real Missha BB cream, I bought it from a South Korean seller. It took 3 weeks to get to my house. I also got 2 free samples - Missha M Signature Real Complete BB Cream and the Signature …Read more

I normally wait longer than 5 days before writing a review, but this moisturizer is amazing (HG material, so far)! I have clog/breakout prone sensitive skin that is on the dry side naturally. It gets irritating flaky patches and crepe paper feeling dehydrated in spots during the winter (I’m sure living in Maine and using benzoyl peroxide religiously doesn’t help). I have tried quite a few …Read more

Colorstay for Normal/Dry Skin -

I have dry, acne prone, semi-sensitive skin and a love/hate relationship with this foundation.

HG heat protection?! I think YES! It's about time...

I have fine, hip length, wavy, easily damaged hair that is a general PITA. I've tried almost every drug store brand and a few high ends heat protectants too. They either weighed my hair down - flat and limp, made my tangle prone hair a ratty mess because of even the slightest stickiness, would work alright for …

Brows - No Brand (DIY or homemade) - Castor Oil

Castor oil is one of my favorite oils. It's dirt cheap, versitile, natural and works very well. I have been using it once a month in hair masks for about 8 months now. I have noticed improvements in my hair in a couple areas. I started to go into a shedding cycle about a week or so before I first tried it, and the shedding immediately decreased. Overall, my shedding has been very minimal …Read more

I have fine hip length hair that is easily damaged and a dry scalp. It’s now fall here in Maine, and that means my normally dry scalp becomes a very irritated extra dry scalp and adds extra shedding to a normally heavy shedding period. To make matters worse, I do hair masks once a month and added Rosemary and Avocado Oil to my mix at the end of Aug. I had a bad reaction to one of them and my hair …Read more

YES! I have finally found my HG moisturizer. The search has been long and unsatisfying. It took an absolute disaster in the from of an allergic reaction to a sunscreen to sway me to the natural side. Out of all the frustration revolving around my face on the last 5 or so months, this product is the silver lining.

I'll try to keep this short. I have sensitive acne prone …
