Eyeliner - Physicians Formula - Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum

This is a pretty good eyeliner - lasts long and is easy to apply. The amazing thing is that it really DID grow my eyelashes long. I swear, it looks like I'm wearing false eyelashes, they have never been this long in my life. I initially purchased this not expecting anything, and then purchased a second time. It was at this point that I noticed how long my eyelashes were getting, and …Read more

Treatments (Face) - Unlisted Brand - Frownies

I've been using these for several months between the eyebrows and they really help re-train that corrugator muscle, so that my eyebrows don't pull together. I'm not that old, but when you spent a lot of time concentrating over difficult work for far less compensation that what you deserve, this is what happens. By the way, a good way to judge the intelligence of anyone over 30 is …Read more

Treatments (Face) - Skin Biology - CP Serum

I've definitely seen major firming with using this in just two weeks, so I will definitely repurchase. I don't have acne scars, so I can't comment on that.

Two things to keep in mind: start slow. I use once a day, just six drops total for face and neck. Some people start way to strong and too fast, and then have irritation, using, for instance, Skin Biology's Super …

Shampoo - Joico - K-PAK Chelating Shampoo

This isn't just for product buildup, but also for hard water buildup. If you have white spots on glasses and in the shower, you have hard water. This can dry out your hair, and really do a number on it. Instead of reaching for the conditioner, give this a try, it made a tremendously good difference in my hair, it's so much softer, but full of volume. I've tried other clarifying …Read more

Treatments (Face) - No Brand (DIY or homemade) - Homemade Vitamin C Serum

I've been using this for several weeks and am very impressed. I had used commercial vitamin c serums in the past, but stopped because they were expensive and oxidized very quickly (turned yellow or brown) - it's not fun to pay quite a bit for something and then have to throw it out.

One thing I think is key is to use distilled water only, as there many be impurities in other …

I'm on my second bottle of this, it's a great product at a reasonable price. It's definitely given me a more even skin tone, firmer skin, and a glow. Keep in my mind, it's NOT a moisturizer, it's a retinol product that has enough retinol to actually benefit your skin. If you find yourself peeling or getting red, just slow down the number of applications per week so your …Read more

Hair Treatments - Ion - Repair Solutions Hair Reconstructor

I've tried a lot of reconstructors, Emergencee, Joico, Penetraitt, and this beats them hands down. I'm so glad I read the reviews here and gave it a try. After the first treatment, my hair felt thicker and seriously, looked in as good as shape as natural virgin hair when I was about 14. It's also highly economical compared to other treatments, just about $11 for a huge bottle.

As another reviewer noted, this is great for summer and for people with an oily scalp. I was developing a very itchy scalp and lank hair, turns out the shampoo I was using wasn't getting the job done. This cleared it up right away, but without stripping. When you tend to have a oily scalp, it's hard to find a shampoo that will effectively clean without stripping, particularly ends. …Read more

Hair Treatments - L'Oreal Paris - Nature's Therapy Mega Moisture Hair Treatment

Fantastic product, it really has made my overprocessed hair look normal again--I'm a kind of amazed. Most moisturizing conditioners never seem to do a thing for me. This has almost completely restored my hair. I concentrate it on the ends, NOT near the roots. My hair doesn't become greasy, or weighed down, but shiny and thicker. It's brought back my natural wave that was lost …Read more

After frying my hair, I tried Nexxus Emergencee, Aphogee, Joice K-Pak, and Redken Cat. This is hands-down the best, with Emergencee second. I do think Aphogee stopped the breaking, so I give it a lot of credit for that. Penetraitt added noticeable thickness and shine to my hair. I will keep using this. Use the Aphogee maybe once every few weeks, it will stop the breakage in its track, and …Read more
