Cleansers - Vanicream - Gentle Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin

I used this for about a year. I had continual whiteheads on my chin during that time. A dermatologist looked at my skin and said that my skincare was too rich.

I stopped using this, and switched it for a La Roche Posay cleanser.

My skin cleared up and the breakouts have not returned.

This is amazing as a body wash. I live in a hotter part of the US. During the summer, my skin has a tendency towards fungal infections. This keeps my skin healthy, without irritation. It’s irreplaceable.

I agree that it’s probably too harsh to use on your face.

I used this to wet bandage my face for about fourteen months after a run in with a bad cosmetologist and a Yag Laser. It basically heals laser burns.

Alas, all good things must come to an end. At about the fourteen month mark, I started to develop dermatitis in response to this (possibly the bisabolol or chamomile), and had to switch to pure lanolin.

If you're not allergic …

Tl/dr: This burns on application, if you have rosacea. It's kind of frightening.

I have dermatitis-prone, very pale, genetically-redheaded, oily, thick skin with a tendency towards irritation and pretty well-controlled rosacea. I had tried The Ordinary, about a year ago, in volume and came down with a nasty case of dermatitis. However, I decided to try the most neutral of …

Sunscreen - Blue Lizard - Australian Sunscreen Face Broad Spectrum SPF 30

If you google, "Sunscreens that won't make your eyes sting," this shows up in the top five. It's an odd mixture of zinc and octinoxate, which is a chemical sunscreen. This is one of the only things I can use as a person who has rosacea and very easily irritated eyes.

This doesn't cause breakouts or redness, and it really seems to be SPF 30. It doesn't …

Treatments (Face) - La Roche-Posay - Rosaliac AR intense

Pro: This, in combination with a non-irritating, effective cleanser, pre-biotic and pro-biotic moisturizer, zinc sunscreen and daily turmeric moisturizer, will make rosacea disappear.

Con: It's drying, by itself, and it's not intended to be a single-use item. In fact, if your skin is really sensitive, it works better if you use it every other night.

I use it in …

I'm almost fifty, and I've finally got my rosacea-prone, acne prone skin to mostly clear up. I normally use La Roche Posay's Hydrating Milky cleanser, but it sometimes stings, and I thought, "Well, this is not expensive. Let's see." edit: This is mildly comedogenic, after a few days' use. Into the bin it goes.

I should also point out that I don't …

Edit: Too many online reviews say that this doesn't work, at all. For that, I can't recommend it.

This sunscreen renewed my faith in impulse buys. Tubes of this were sitting in the end rows by the checkout in my local Walgreens. I have tried literally thirty different sunscreens because I have very sensitive skin with rosacea, and I'm prone to dermatitis. (I'm a …

Cleansers - La Roche-Posay - Micellar Water Ultra

L'Oreal owns La Roche Posay, and they've done something amazing with this micellar water--the main surfactant is polaxamer--which is a contact lens surfactant, so this won't irritate sensitive eyes. It's also really good for calming down rosacea, and it doesn't cause breakouts or strip skin. It can be used as an eye makeup remover, even on sensitive eyes, because of the …Read more

This is for the Oil-Free Mineral Veil:

The lightest shades work on very, very pale, very sensitive skin. No breakouts, and no irritation. No oxidation, and nothing weird in the ingredients. Also, if you're sensitive to it, no cyclopentasiloxane.

I really like and trust this brand. They follow Swedish cosmetic standards--which means the ingredients are non-toxic. This is a …
