After reading the rave reviews online, I'd hoped for a slam dunk with this mascara. My main wish is dramatic volume. This gives average volume, decent length and a nice deep black color. I liked the fat brush. Not worth the money for me. $28 US.
I was looking for a great color match, which MAC is known for, and to cover up bruises and redness. After an hour in the Pro store with a great SA, I bought this in N18 and the Prep + Prime concealer in Bright Forecast. The N18 turned powdery on me, even with a beauty blender. Tried using different brushes and my fingers, using the concealer 1st and N18 on top, and the opposite. Didn't work …Read more

I'm on my 3rd container of 3T. After straying to an Obagi cream, which was so full of actives that it completely irritated my skin and neutralized any potential positive effects, I'm back. Have normal to dry/dehydrated skin. Concerned with moisture, anti-aging and lightening brown spots. It does well with the 1st two, haven't noticed a difference with the hyperpigmentation. I wear …Read more
After quite a while testing every so-called black volumizing mascara, from drugstore to high-end, this one is the tops. A deep intense black, dramatic volume and minimal to no clumping. I've heard it takes a few tries to get this clump-free, and after the 1st 2 applications, feel pretty good about that part. Interesting brush - not a traditional volumizing brush, but a bristle wand with …Read more
I have finally found a mascara I love! On my never-ending quest for a mascara that behaves like the discontinued Dior Maximeyes, I tried a lot of them... most recently, Monsieur Big (very messy and didn't give the promised volume), Stila Huge (good if you want natural lashes), Nars Climax (gave a bit of length but zero volume), L'Oreal Voluminous (decent) and more. Hypnose Drama is deep …Read more
Love the packaging. Hoped it would volumize, as promised, but very little of that happened. Tried it with and without primer. With primer, got very good length. It has a nice feel on lashes and didn't flake, but since what I really want in mascara is dramatic volume (without spider lashes or major clumping), this is going back.
My favorite Korres 3 in 1 milk cleanser is no longer available, so was looking for a replacement. A Sephora SA recommended this one and gave me a sample. First, it's not a "milk", more a watery sort-of lotion, but more watery than anything. After using it, my face felt ok, but not moisturized like it does with the Korres. The next morning, after 1 use, I had 2 zits from this …Read more
This was average, if that. My main goal is volume. After 2-3 coats, looked like I had on barely any mascara. I have black lashes and normally go without mascara, unless dressing up or for an event. Had high hopes based on the hype. The brush is full and nice, and pretty packaging, but otherwise not worth it at all.
Unsure if will repurchase, but leaning towards yes. This is for the non-waterproof version. I have black, normal lashes and usually only wear mascara when going out or dressing up. Loved Dior's Maximeyes, long discontinued. Have been used Ciate's Wonderwand, which is decent, although it's messy and can flake. Since that tube is almost finished, I tried this. Love the squeeze …Read more
