**Update** I've upped it by 1 lippie because it's genuinely not broken me out and I've even been able to use it on very sore, raw skin on my nose from a recent cold, and there was zero reaction: it just felt soothing and moisturising. That's really rare, and the lack of petroleum/paraffin etc. is also a huge bonus. I found it also worked better on totally clean skin rather …Read more

The only micellar water I have been able to use that didn't sting, burn, break me out, dry out my skin and it actually removes make up! I thought micellar waters were simply incompatible with my skin until trying this one. The pink garnier version stung my skin and dried it out and Sensibio's version has capric/caprylic triglyceride which gives me cystic acne (it's a form of …Read more

A phenomenal product and one-of-a-kind.

I bought this out of desperation when my Clinique pep start hydrorush moisturiser gave me a terrible allergic reaction and I realised it was actually drying my skin out. I had already started using Estee Lauder's Perfectly Clean Triple Action foaming cleanser and been wowed by its gentleness and effectiveness. That was my first introduction …

I truly appreciate the gentleness and sophisticated ingredients in this cleanser, having hyper-sensitive, acne-prone and roseacea skin. It has never broken me out, and is so soothing, probably due to the high amount of witch hazel, Zinc and Lady's Thistle, and low-level surfactants. I've never seen an ingredient list like this before and that was my initially why I purchased it, despite …Read more

Genuinely shocked by how good this product is for my difficult skin (acne-prone, hypersensitive, rosacea, sometimes seb derm). Oils and cream cleansers were either breaking me out or causing seb derm to flair. My skin was too sore to wipe clean so I needed a rinse-off cleanser that could handle mid-full coverage mineral makeup. This is the product. It is an unscented, clear, runny gel which …Read more

Moisturizers - Unlisted Brand - Aponia night cream Sulphur for very sensitive skin

For many people with seb. derm. (seborrhoeic dermatitis), acne, rosacea, irritated skin and other skin problems, sulphur-based products are often recommended because of its healing, anti-bacterial, anti-yeast properties. My first introduction to sulphur skincare was the Aponia sulphur night cream, only available online (I got mine via Amazon for about £10 for a 30ml pot). It comes in a cardboard …Read more

Cleansers - CLINIQUE - Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser

Apr/29/2014

Having been through two cycles of Roaccutane my skin is very fragile and dry, with severe rosacea, adult acne, and occasional bouts of seb. derm. (the hat trick!). Yet strangely enough, I am really pleased with this cleanser. I have been desperately trying to find a rinse-off cleanser which could deal with my (necessarily) heavy mineral make-up as my skin is just too sore to cleanse daily with …Read more

*update* As much as I loved this cleanser, after a while I started to break out quite badly, despite it initially clearing up my skin. There's no single ingredient I could pin-point which had caused this, but the build-up of the sticky residue was really causing me problems. So I've downgraded this to 3 stars as I can imagine many people finding this to be a very useful cleanser as it …Read more

Moisturizers - A-Derma - Irritated Skin Care Cream Face & Body

A-Derma is a French brand aimed at those with extreme skin problems and use Rhealba Oat milk in their products to soothe and treat irritated, sensitive, excoriated, extopic and generally difficult skin. As a rosacea sufferer, I've had success with oat milk products before but the only place I've seen A-Derma sold on the UK high street (so far) is in large branches of Boots. Products …Read more

Moisturizers - Unlisted Brand - Pai - Chamomile & Rosehip Sensitive Skin Cream

First of all, this is an extremely moisturising product and may not be suitable for those with oily skin. I've sampled all the Pai moisturisers and this was the only one which didn't break me out; I suspect it is because there is no corn starch in this cream unlike the others. It is jammed with impressive natural ingredients. Pai prides itself on producing products with no alcohol …Read more
