Sunscreen - Eucerin - Everyday Protection Face Lotion - Broad Spectrum SPF 30

1.0

I tried this one (not once but twice) and this Kitten agrees with Walko, but with one upsetting addition: Like most sunscreens, this burns and stings my eyes so badly after about half an hour that I have to wash my face (usually twice) before applying The Ordinary's Mineral SPF 30. Sooner or later, I'll learn not to stray from what works for me. Insert teary-eyed sigh here. Never again.

Cleansers - CeraVe - Hydrating Cleanser

CAUTION I have no idea why but this stuff broke me out so badly from just one use that it took weeks for the handful of little eruptions all over my face to disappear. Big surprise to me as nothing else in my routine changed and I break out about as often as a sloth breaks the speed limit on foot down the Autobahn. Never, ever again.

Eye Shadow - e.l.f. Cosmetics - Smudge Pot Cream Eyeshadow

5.0

e.l.f. has the habit of glitter (and by glitter, I mean chunks of it) so I was really skeptical about these smudge pots. Having recently made the switch from powders to creams, I decided to give this a try when I saw it in Walmart. While I can't testify to any other shades, WINE NOT is absolutely fantastic.

Soft and buttery, it's easy to apply and blend. It's buildable …

Blush - BOOM! By Cindy Joseph - Boomstick Color

BOOMSTICK? WORTH EVERY PENNY.

BOOM has been heavily targeted to mature women but I am telling you it works for me and maybe you should take a closer look at these products. It works so well, it's replaced a lot of product in my makeup wardrobe, which is good because it's a tad spendy at almost 30 USD for a stick slightly bigger than a lipstick (reminiscent of Bite) but you …

Eye Shadow - Kiko Cosmetics - Long Lasting Eyeshadow Stick

Do not walk RUN to the Kiko website and grab 'em thisfast by the handful.

Recently, I made the switch from powders to creams. (The only powder I use anymore is a Cargo bronzer in medium.) I did this when I used up the products I had and realized that cream, mousse and heavier liquid formulas just work better on my combination skin and I literally get more bang for my buck. Cream …

If you see it, grab it.

Easiest makeup look ever. A universally flattering matte shade, it can be used on its own or as a base, and the colour can be built and layered to mimic a multi-shaded eye. Creamy enough. Easy to work with it. Did I mention this stuff stays put? It does. Pop it in your bag, it's portable, too. I have no idea if it eventually dries out as I've always …

Brows - L.A. Girl - Shady Slim Brow Pencil

I was the Goldilocks of brow products: This one's too heavy, this one's too light. This one drags, this one smudges. This one's too waxy, this one's too splotchy. This one's too hard, this one's too soft. This one breaks, this one has no pigment. You get the idea, right? Such frustration. Then I found LA GIRL SHADY SLIM BROW PENCIL (otherwise known as The Last Brow …Read more

In the interest of full disclosure, I just washed my face with this line's cleansing oil (and foaming face wash afterward) in order to freshly review how I use Simple's Cleansing Oil as part of an effective double cleanse (review on the oil's page) and I mentioned there that I might need a dab of moisturizer afterward because me.

So this is me coming over to this page …

Cleansers - Simple - Hydrating Cleansing Oil

In the interest of fairness, as I haven't used this since March when the weather was much colder, I just went into the bathroom (yes, I have this in my bathroom) to wash my face so I could tell you, accurately and correctly, how lovely this cleansing oil is.

Verdict: Not overly oily, slightly floral scent, didn't need a lot of product, removed most cosmetics and sunscreen …

"This has to be the most underrated foundation of all time, especially for people with dry skin." - Luzali89

Max Factor's Pan-Stik rocks the versatility: While it is a great foundation, it's also a wonderful concealer, and for me it's usually something in-between, depending on my changing needs. This is my daily go-to product as I don't use a lot of base …
