Calandre is STILL IN PRODUCTION: http://www.pacorabanne.com/fragrances/classics/calandre

I'm reviewing Calandre EDT, and the good news is: it still smells exactly the same as the Eau de Calandre *and* Calandre that I wore in the eighties!

Calandre is a unique perfume, a timeless, ageless classic: there's a reason it's still around since 1969! I have happily …

Fragrances - The Body Shop - White Musk Smoky Rose

5.0

Dec/17/2014

I'm reviewing the EDT. TBS White Musk Smoky Rose is a sweet, powdery musky floral. The opening is fizzy, with berries and transparent florals. In the drydown it gets more vanillic, warmer, sweeter, sexier and muskier. The musk is soft and clean, not sharp or animalic.

Two spritzes last all day on me, and in the short time I'm wearing it, I got two compliments already. This …

Fragrances - The Body Shop - White Musk Perfume Oil

5.0

Dec/17/2014

Once this oil has melted into your skin, it leaves behind the most soft, powdery, warm and feminine scent trail. It lasts all day on me (I have gotten compliments 6 hours into wearing it!) and is one of very few scents that hasn't been messed with throughout the years. I've been wearing it regularly year round for 26 years and it still smells sexy, warm and clean, in a non-perfumey way …Read more

Fragrances - Dior - Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle

5.0

May/03/2012

I love Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle and to my surprise I prefer it over the original Hypnotic Poison. I like the original HP, but it's never been love, mainly because it doesn't develop on my skin: it smells exactly the same from the beginning to the end.

HP Eau Sensuelle opens with a beautiful bouquet of creamy, almost buttery white flowers, with an undercurrent of …

Nail Tools - OPI - Crystal File

1.0
Created with Sketch.

Dec/21/2011

I bought 3 of these expensive OPI crystal files because of all the raves. I'm on my third now, they're sooo fragile. And I've always been very careful with them, go figure.

I don't notice any difference with a regular diamond file, except the OPI breaks so easily. And the tip is extremely sharp; much sharper than regular files. I've pricked myself with it more …

Fragrances - E. Coudray - Esperys

Dec/22/2010

This has to be the most unique scent I own, out of 80+ perfumes: I have never smelled anything remotely like it. Not to mention the sexiest perfume in my collection. Sexy as in 'innocent sexy' though, if that makes any sense. ;) Toothachingly sweet, it manages to smell luxurious, soft and classy. Nothing like the uninspired sweet celeb scents that are all over the place. It's the …Read more

Fragrances - Escada - Escada

5.0

Jul/12/2010

This review is for the original Escada Eau de Toilette from 1990, the clear heart shaped bottle with the gold cap. It comes in a red box with gold lettering that just reads 'Escada', and has gold garlands on the side. It smells exactly the same as Escada 'Margaretha Ley', which also comes in a red/gold garlanded box.

Escada smells nothing like the sugary sweet …

Fragrances - Aquolina - Pink Sugar Eau de Toilette

1.0

Jul/11/2008

This scent was way to sweet and musky, not to mention artificial. It didn't smell like real cotton candy at all: I just got a fake candy-like aroma with a lot of fruit mixed in and a sharp white musk. After the initial blast of fruit it soon became overpowering and cloying, to the point it made me nauseous. It wasn't particularly easy to get rid of the scent though. I could still smell …Read more

Fragrances - Unlisted Brand - Jean-Charles Brosseau - Ombre Bleu

Jul/08/2008

I love, love, love Ombre Bleue! I have it in Eau de Toilette form and while I'd describe the scent itself as delicate and airy, it has pretty good sillage and ditto lasting power on me. It's sweet, but not overly so, and I happen to love the note that others have referred to as 'plasticky' or 'doll-heady.' I agree with the latter description: this particular note …Read more

Ombre Rose is as soft as it gets. Winter or summer, it just seems to envelop you with its rosey sweet powdery muskiness and it always feels right. Pretty and feminine, this classic and I love how the beautiful Art-deco bottle reflects those qualities.
