Lotions/ Creams - CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream

I have been plagued by terribly dry and itchy skin on my face and body for quite a while now, most likely due to a combination of overly hot showers, central heating, the weather etc. This moisturiser has been a god send.

Although it's not purposely made for facial skin, I do use it on my face as well as my body and have had no adverse effects. It deeply hydrates my skin, not just …

Shampoo - Sukin - Purifying shampoo

Although I personally did not like this shampoo much, I feel that if I had oily hair I would have much preferred it. It just did not work with my dry, coarse hair.

Overview:

Pros - Good value for money (I purchased for approx. £5 for 500ml at TK Maxx), no harsh chemicals (e.g. parabens, SLS, EDTA etc.), no residue or build up.

Cons - Slightly dried out my hair, I …

I can't rate this highly enough. I use it for almost everything - skin, hair, lips etc. It's fantastic!

I purchased this on Amazon for around £5 just before Christmas and I've used almost half of it already. It is a white solid oil and comes in a jam-jar like container. Upon contact with skin, it quickly turns to a liquid oil which can be applied to the skin or hair …

Hmm, this is a difficult one for me. I received this shampoo as a Christmas gift as I really like Sulphate Free shampoos. However, I probably would never have bought this myself - it's really quite expensive at around £30 per bottle.

Originally, I really loved this shampoo. Despite being SLS and paraben free, it still lathers up pretty well. It washes out nicely and left my hair …

Lip Treatments - NIVEA - A Kiss of Protection Sun Protection Lip Care SPF 30

Today, I was looking for a new moisturising lip balm as I constantly have dry lips. I wasn't specifically searching for one with sun protection as it's not Summer yet but I seen this on offer and the SPF 30 seemed like a bonus.

I've only had it for one day but overall, I'm disappointed. Although the packaging is nice and the balm winds up and down smoothly without …

I've been struggling with eyelid dermatitis for over a year now which is extremely itchy, flaky and started to give me fine lines under my eyes. Being only 19, this was pretty concerning to me so I started trying all sorts of creams to get rid of my eczema. No prescription cream worked except mild hydrocortisone which I was extremely wary to use around my eyes. However, I recently got a …Read more

Shampoo - John Frieda - Go Blonder Lightening Shampoo

On the whole, I really liked this product. I have naturally blonde hair but over the Winter months, it tends to get a little darker and looks dull. I've always said that I'd never dye my hair but for a while, I've really wanted my hair to be a few shades lighter.

Usually, this shampoo costs around £5.99 at my local supermarket but last week, they were selling both the …
