Color matched well.
Good overall look and texture at first but.....by 3 pm it starts melting off my face.
I have always had very oily skin and now at my age it is less oily but with some need to blot in the afternoon. It cannot imagine using it during my 20's and 30's.
I wish it really absorbed oil rather than bunch it on my face into rivulets that looks like wrinkles …

My mom's friend kept on raving about this product. She is very picky so when I saw it our local Grocery Outlet for $10, I jumped on it.
It works well, does not irritate, and smooths any bumps. My only complain is the packaging. It is hard to measure how much of the glycolic vs. the scrub I should use or is left. As a result I tend to use less of the liquid part of the kit. I do …

I hated this product when I first bought this. I was looking for a primer or mattefier to wear under my makeup during the day. Big fail! It either balled up my other products or made my face feel oilier by noon. I was very disappointed and considered sending it back for a refund.
Then one night I decided to use it as a night cream/ serum. With my oily skin a night cream is just a bad idea …

I bought this accidentally, since I meant to order the liquid BHA lotion I used as a toner. I was not happy at first, since I really wanted a toner.
One year later it is a HG. I use it two to three times a week, at night to keep my facial Keratosis pilaris and pimples at bay. As I age it also helps to keep the finer lines smoother.
My husband even uses when he has any breakouts. I …

Sunscreen - Eucerin - Everyday Protection Face Lotion - Broad Spectrum SPF 30

I have been using this sunscreen for the last 4 years. I always buy another and come back to this one. It doesn't break me out, it goes on smooth, and the white-cast it gives my skin a lightener look. You could not ask for a better deal since it is as good if not better than the DDF Mattefier or Peter Roth. A definite HG.

Lotions/ Creams - Aquaphor - Healing Ointment Advanced Therapy

This is a HG product. It works on scrapes, cuts, bruises, and chapped skin. It is not a moisturizer but rather a healer or protector. So if you try to slather it all over your skin you will get a big gooey mess. A little goes a long way, so take it easy. I always prefer to use this at night to let it sink in and heal.

I am an avid library goer, so once again, it is dirt cheap to go to your local library.

I have KP and was glad to see a book addressing my condition. I was looking for specific advice on KP on the face since my chin is riddled with scales that never seem to clear or go away regardless of the products I use. Finally somebody who will shed some light!

I read it cover to …

This conditioner is what made me go no-poo. With medium lenght hair that is curly I do have to be carefull of what I put on it. But I was tired of all the fussing and primping I have to go through to get my curls to activate without frizzing. That and I am on a budget. When I saw this "new" product on sale I reacted in an pavlovian manner and I bought it. Buying in to the notion of …Read more

I found this book at the library after having read Chandler Burr's books including The Emperor of Scent's about Turin. (I recommend his books as a primers to this tome) I was curious to read Turin's own words and descriptions and I was not disappointed. He and Sanchez are sharp, funny and yes snobish. While I might not agree with all of their assesments I was entertained and …Read more
