I originally bought one that was scratchy, but then replaced it with a new one and it was soft. i like using it for outer crease detail work as my eyes are smaller, along with the intended purpose of smudging. Ecotools has some quality control issues. Thats the only thing that is frustrating.

A LITTLE BIT SCRATCHY. SINCE I BOUGHT TWO PACKS I KNOW THE BRUSHES ARE INCONSISTENT IN QUALITY. WITH THE BIGGER CREASE BRUSHES ONE IS WAY MORE DENSE THAN THE OTHER. I PREFER THE MORE DENSE ONE AS IT PICKS UP MORE COLOR.HAD I NOT PURCHASED 2 PACKS TO CHECK THIS OUT I WOULD NOT KNOW.
