Hair Treatments - Olaplex - No.7 Bonding Oil

I didn’t rush out to buy this when it first came out because I didn’t “need” another hair oil. With all the glowing reviews I just had to try it though, thanks again Makeup Alley for talking me into it lol because I really like it.
First impression: It’s quite a bit different than most conventional hair oils.First of all, it’s really light and doesn’t feel greasy at all. When I first tried …

Toners - Biologique Recherche - Exfoliating Lotion P50

I’ve tried my fair share of chemical exfoliants (Pixi, Mario Badescu Glycolic, DDF Glycolic 10%toner), MUAC Mandelic Acid Toner..,.and P50 is hands down the best of the best. My only regret is not trying it sooner. I’ve found that the balance P50 has given my skin has made an enormous difference in how well everything absorbs into my skin. It’s not the cheapest thing on the planet but incredibly …Read more

Let me start off by saying I have naturally curly, bi polar hair somewhere between a 2c and 3a. It frizzes horribly in it’s naturally state at the slightest hint of moisture. Thanks to a helpful MUA user, I discovered One N Only keratin treatment from Sally’s, but it had been discontinued/reformulated. It was the best I have found, it made my hair manageable and didn’t damage it a lot blah blah …Read more

This has been a standby of mine for a few years now but today I really felt compelled to leave a review. Why? Because cracking open a brand new bottle of this and applying it made me realize how superior this is in comparison to all the other foundations I own.
I ran out so I replaced it. My replacement arrived and even though I just did my makeup for the day (Boujours Healthy Skin #51) …

*Updated 1/6/20* I was looking for some extra hydration in addition to my routine and this was a perfect fit.
I found this little gem while researching
Hadalabo Gokujun Hyaluronic Lotion Moisturizer. This is more of a liquidy essence rather than an actual moisturizer like the latter. I decided to go with this one instead of Hadalabo because it was more economical for 500ml and is more …

I’m always weary of dropper applicatiors because of contamination possibilities. Besides that, the product itself is a mild chemical exfoliant that does what it is supposed to do.Follow the directions though, more than 10 minutes will turn mild into harsh rather quickly. Overall, it does deliver smooth skin and is enough to help keep away the dreaded retin a flakies. Moisturizing well afterwards …Read more

This review is for both the S and C. My initial impression? Is this my hair? If it’s not then I’m not giving it back because it feels amazing! I didn’t recognize it the first few times I used these. It truly doesn’t feel like my hair.
My hair: 2a/2b , recently BKT treated, fine but very course, extremely frizzy in humid weather, and is pretty dry at the ends. It loves cones, and does well …

Do you want supple, “bouncy” skin that actually glows and holds moisture? This will do that and more, truly this stuff is MAGIC. I walked into Ulta for something completely different and left with this, so glad I did. I have been using just some non discript apricot kernel oil, it was meh. Obviously Clairins is a well known higher priced quality product vs. an ordinary oil an you may be saying “ …Read more

I heard about this as someone's dry skin HG on the skincare board. I googled it and loved the basis of the company: Real ingredients backed by science without fillers, fancy packaging or gimmicks. I haven't written a review in forever, but I felt I had to share how amazing this stuff is.
About my skin:
Dry Colorado climate + Retin-A Micro = dry, dehydrated and patchy …

Surprised to see the low reviews. Moving to a dry, semi-arid desert climate, a couple years ago I found my normal moisturizer wasn't enough. I tried Cetaphil (horrible under foundation), Clairins Hydra-Quench Serum (Mehhh, nothing notable ), jojoba/avacado oil (effective but takes too long to sink in), Kate Sommerville Quench Serum ( expensive but effective), Clinique Moisture Surge ( …Read more
