I love this. I can’t believe I waited for so long to try this. I thought all sprays were more or less the same thing. I’d tried the Mario Badescu rose water one and that was okay, it didn’t blow me away. I have dry skin, but I do wear powder all over since I hate being greasy after my moisturizer, sunscreen and whatever makeup I’m wearing that day. I love that dewy skin (not greasy!) you get …Read more

Lotions/ Creams - CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream

I hate to bring the rating down for this beloved product, but it just didn't work for me. The biggest problem for me was that it gave me closed comedones. You know those non-inflamed, skin colored bumps that give you texture and refuse to budge for months? Yeah that. I'm thankful it didn't give me inflamed acne as I'm quite acne prone despite having dry skin. But the texture …Read more

Misc Beauty Tools - Ziip - Beauty Nano Current Skincare Device

This is probably my biggest beauty purchase and regret so far. I was suckered in by all the marketing and publicity, and thought this would be a worthy anti-aging investment in the long run. Before I talk about the effectiveness of this device, I need to address the sturdiness of the device. I bought this on Cult Beauty. Within a month of purchase I started seeing cracks on the device which …Read more

CD/Books/Movies - Unlisted Brand - CALLANETICS

If I didn't know any better, I would call Callanetics some kind of weird black magic. I mean, I still can't find an explanation as to how it works and works so fast too. I've tried all kinds of exercises. Traditional weights and cardio, kickboxing, pilates, barre, ballet, circuit training, etc. You get the idea. I enjoy weights very much, but somehow it doesn't get me the …Read more

Treatments (Face) - Makeup Artist's Choice (MUAC) - TCA Peel

This review is for the 18% strength. This was my first TCA peel ever, so I was quite apprehensive. I know they say you need to start low and build up, but I've been using retin a and glycolic acid for a long time, so I knew my skin could handle it. I bought the sample during a black friday sale and it was quite inexpensive. I'd been using my tazarac and glycolic acid on alternating …Read more

Moisturizers - Neostrata - Face Cream Plus Step Up Level 15 AHA

This is so so good. This feels very similar to PTR Glycolic acid mositurizer I used to use years ago, but this is even stronger at 15% compared to PTR's 10%. My main skin concerns are dry patches, anti-aging and occasional acne. I use it every other day alternating with my Tazorac and this routine works very well for me. My face feels smooth, plump and glowy. It's only 1.4 oz, but you …Read more

Blush - MILANI - Coral Cove Powder Blush

This blush is just GORGEOUS. Don't be intimidated by the fluorescent-orange color in the pan, unless you go ham when applying it, it's very hard to actually look orange when using this. I have medium-olive skin tone and I think this shade is so flattering on me. I feel like it brings life back into my face whether I apply it after makeup or just dust a little bit on my no-makeup days …Read more

Okay so this serum broke me out and sometimes caused horrible pilling. It took me sometime to realize that this was causing tiny whiteheads because I didn't even think HA could break you out. Since then I've done some research and found out that low molecular HA can penetrate the skin unlike high molecular HA (though both of them are beneficial in their own ways) and therefore …Read more
