If only I could give this product -5 stars! I dabbed a little of the tester tube under my eyes when I stopped into a Saphora today and a moment later I had dark Petechia (blood spots) all under my write area! Not only did it do nothing for my dark circles but it actually looks as though I have hickies under my eyes! And I begin a new job tomorrow. I'm devasted. Hopefully it clears up …Read more

Masks - No Brand (DIY or homemade) - Homemade Gelatin Milk Pore Cleansing Mask

My boyfriend and I tried this out and were satisfied with the results, plus the price is just unbeatable! We used equal parts milk and unflavored gelatine. For one person I'd say about 1/2 tsp of each ought to do the trick. 1 tsp of each covered both my and my boyfriend's (rather large) noses PLUS my chin with some to spare! Anyhow, the mixture isn't pleasant smelling, but I feel …Read more

I LOVE baking soda as shampoo! However, I agree with nakedcube that it takes some trail and error. The first time I used it I was convinced my hair was clean enough (it feels different wet post-wash than having shampoo cleaned hair) and I dried my hair out a bit. I have a very oily scalp and this gets my hair very clean but still leaves it soft w/out having to use conditioner and my hair even has …Read more

Hair Removal - No Brand (DIY or homemade) - Homemade Sugar Wax

I read about "sugaring" online and was immediately intrigued. All natural, dirt cheap hair removal treatment with the benefits of waxing AND (as if that weren't enough) many claimed it hurt far less than waxing! Now THIS I had to try! So after some internet research (esp. You Tube), I took the plunge. For those familiar, I went on ahead with the sugar gel method as opposed to …Read more

Skincare - Face - Pro Activ - 3-Step System

Let me start by mentioning it's been a few years since I tried Pro Active, so I have no incite regarding the newer formula. But when I tried Pro Active three or four years ago it was simply an awful experience. I went with the 'Plus Total Solution kit' (three steps plus refining mask and green tea moisturizer). I used the product as directed w/out missing a beat and stuck with it …Read more

This stuff is brilliant. My hair is heavy and wavy, and as a result it always looks stuck to my head unless I resort to backcombing. But no longer, thanks to this product. Spray it on, blow it dry, brush it out, and fluff. It's that easy, and every day is a fabulous hair day. My only complaint is that I have a pretty oily scalp and general need to wash my hair daily and sometimes if I style …Read more

I have a love affair with close but not quite black shades. Straight black is just a little to goth (and a little to dull) for me, but there's something seductive and romantic about those darker shades. The glittery shine adds the perfect balance and the right amount of light to this haunting hue.
