This has become my go-to daily moisturizer for the daytime (the normal to dry skin formula). I have sensitive, acne-prone skin, and also what I believe is undiagnosed mild rosacea (planning to see a dermatologist in the near future).

I had been using another moisturizer for years that was SPF protection but wanted something with a higher SPF power. I cannot seem to use …

Cleansers - Olay - Sensitive Skin Foaming Face Wash [DISCONTINUED]

I love this face wash, I have been using it for a year. I've got sensitive skin with what I'm pretty sure is mild rosacea, acne prone, dries out easily but can get oily too when out of balance or when using the wrong products in the sticky, hot summer months. For awhile I used creamy washes because lots of stuff would leave my face feeling tight and end up drying it out. Even the …Read more

It looks like I'm also one of the few who do not like this. I bought it to try it out based on all the great reviews and how they say it doesn't overdry skin, but was apprehensive because of one top ingredient: sodium laureth sulphate. I don't think this ingredient is "bad" in general as some people do, but it seems to be bad for me - using a cleanser with this as a top …Read more

Not sure what's up with all the negative reviews, but I really like this product. I have fine hair and this was one of my go-to conditioners last winter when I was desperate to replenish moisture to my hair. I can see someone with thicker, coarser hair liking this too. I bought this on a whim. That was after looking at the ingredients first, of course - I'm picky about my conditioners …Read more

Hair Treatments - Farouk CHI - CHI Nourish Intense Silk Masque for Fine Hair

I have very fine hair, and this works great. I use this in the winter when the air is dry and my hair feels "thirsty" (this will be the second winter using it now). This saved my hair last winter when my hair felt so dry and tangled up. (I only used it a few times April to October, though, after a protein treatment.) It's also good for replenishing damaged hair, just like it says …Read more

Styling Products - Not Your Mother's - Smooth Moves Frizz Control Hair Cream

Dec/15/2012

I was in search of a styling product that both smoothed hair and helped it stay straighter, and came across this one day in Walmart. This worked for my long, fine hair. I use it for air drying my hair. Love the smell too. I only use a tiny amount. I squeeze it out of the tube about four times in total, apply it throughout the hair, but each time it's a small amount, just barely any coming …Read more

Normally, my hair is already pretty straightish looking with just a little bit of wave to it. But lately, it's been drying with these odd looking mixture of wavy and straight hair bits, with one big ugly wave on one side of my head, any time I air dry my hair ever since I had a short layers cut into my style. This creme helps it all lay straighter like it used to, and also helps get rid of …Read more

Mascara - Maybelline New York - Illegal Length Fiber Extensions

Dec/09/2012

Ok, this gave me length but it didn't give me volume, as was expected. I already have longish eyelashes but they are thin. It didn't advertise as being volumizing, so I don't think people should knock down its rating for that. Anyway, I did what a couple of other users suggested which is to apply another coat of mascara first, then this one. So I applied my Maybelline Colossal …Read more

I love this stuff. My hair is better than ever since I started using these products. I had been experiencing scalp problems off and on for over a year, and then last fall I began excessively shedding a lot of hair, making my hair appear thinner. This shampoo and conditioner duo have totally helped with those problems. The scalp therapy does wonders for, well, my scalp. And it doesn't …Read more

Shampoo - Suave - Professionals Volumizing Shampoo

I like this shampoo, it leaves my roots and scalp feeling clean, yet not dried out. Like most volumizing shampoos, it can be drying on the length, but to counter that I just make sure to use a good salon-brand conditioner. After conditioning I lightly follow it with a detangling solution that I rinse out (I use the Biolage one). I will keep using this shampoo until cold, fall air rolls around …Read more
