I am no stranger to hair removal and have spent years trying to find a way to remove my mustache fuzz. The eyebrows I leave to the experts though...I have used the plastic backed Sally Hanson strips off and on, depending on wether or not I wanted to fork out some cash for a threading along with my brows, but I have found using strips at home to be more economical. Nads comes with 24 strips, more …Read more

Im 39, oily T-Zone, skin is not sensitive. I have been using this mask for over five years to keep my hormonal acne in check. I mix equal parts clay with equal parts vinegar until it is thick enough to not drip off the spoon. I apply it rather thickly and settle in to scroll through the internet. The mask dries and does indeed pulsate, it feels weird when you first start using the mask but I have …Read more

Mascara - L'Oreal Paris - Voluminous Butterfly Waterproof Mascara

I have never seen an applicator like this, and while I understand that one side is to be used for lining the waterline of the upper eyelid, I found doing it by hand with eyeliner is more precise. What I did not like is that this does not "brush" onto the lashes, it seems to "coat" a grouping of lashes in mascara, in what I feel is dollar store quality. I had to use a brush to …Read more

I apply this once every three to four times per month depending on how much I wash my hair. I get home from work at around 1:30, apply it and do stuff around the house until 5:00 or so. Its expensive I try to take it easy and not over use it, and I use maybe a 1/4 cup and comb it through my hair, (its past my shoulders) with a shower comb and tie it up. I then rinse, shampoo and condition as …Read more

I have kept the same tin of Smiths Rosebud Salve in Rose and Mandarin next to my bed for over five years and I am now only seeing the bottom of the tin. I use it every night before bed, and my lips are never chapped. The tin is pretty and retro, and looks nice sitting there next to my lamp. Happy face.

Im 38, fair skinned, oily-ish with hormonal breakouts. I use this once a week, sometimes twice if I am feeling fancy... Its a two step process. First I use 1/4 teaspoon from the jar and swirl it over my face for about a minute, and then I use 1/2 teaspoon from the bottle and massage onto my face to combine both. There is a subtle foaming and warmth when the two are combined. I then just walk …Read more

Lotions/ Creams - Cake Beauty - Milk Made Body Hydrating Moisture Milk

Bought at the Wallgreens for about eight bucks. It is not very moisturizing, and would not soothe super dry skin, I could see this as a summertime moisturizer. It took me DAYS to place the familiar scent. It smells exactly like a strawberry shortcake doll circa 1980s. Call me nostalgic, but I like the smell of plastic strawberries.
