If you haven't figured it out yet - this is a moisturiser disguised as a primer because everyone these days are CONVINCED their skin is oily but it's actually dehydrated and they're not treating their skin with sufficient skincare to counter the amount/layers of "instagram" makeup they're doing on their faces. If this works for you - its because you need skin care …Read more

Antiquated formulation full of mineral oil. It was groundbreaking a few decades ago. It is now inundated with many other brands with far superior ingredients. Not even worth half the price. Jane Scrivener or Emma Hardies beat this by a country mile. Hard pass.

DO NO PURCAHSE OR TRY WITHOUT TEST PATCHING!

Skin: Slightly (and i mean slightly sensitive) I use retina a without issue. No allergies.

Type: Dehydrated + Oily in summer. Managed well though

Product review: NO! NO NO NO NO NO NO!!! This product, while no doubt fine for some, gave me a terrible reaction of biblical proportions. I'm talking eyes puffed up so …

This was terrible then and it's terrible now. The most recognisable mascara in the world does NOT make it the best. I had my make up done by some of the best make up artists in the world from 1992 - 2012 and not one, EVER used this on me. It might have been good in the early 80's, but please. With today's formulations, it's just a joke.

REVIEW AND HOW TO USE PROPERLY: I started using this cleanser in 1997 when all the models were switching from dissolving their eye makeup with baby oil, and started using the Shu Umeura cleansing oil. I've tested nearly every other cleansing oil in the last near 20 years and none have been up to par...(That said, I do love the Shu Umeura Ultimo also and EDIT: The L'Occiane Cleansing oil …Read more

I purchased two pairs of these (The slant edge and the surgical point) in 1998 at London drugs, in Vancouver.

Both have been sharpened once and I still have the same pairs.

How many times can you say you purchased something to put your makeup bag, and 17 years later it's still serving you just as well?!?

Don't waste your time or money on any other …

Bought mine at London Drugs in Vancouver in 1998. Still using the same pair. Disinfect with isocol (any pure alcohol) - rinse with water and dry for 10 seconds with a hairdryer. You'll never need anything else.

Audrey Hepburn's make-up artist used to separate every single one of her eyelashes with a pin... three coats took nearly 30 minutes.

This takes 10 seconds …

This is a great, cheap exfoliator. Especially for legs...If you're young.

I still use mine for my legs and even though i'm only 35, it's just too abrasive for anywhere else. That much dermal damage just to exfoliate is not necessary. Maybe once every few months if you've gone too long without a good scrub, but otherwise, my chest, arms - basically upper body are …

First of all, my review is based off a deluxe sample of the product I was given. But boy-o-boy! Was I pleasantly surprised when I slapped in on one morning after my admitted lengthy cleansing routine and my skin brightened right up and felt incredible!

I've always felt a bit 'meh' about Clarin's Products. Yes, the Beauty Flash Balm was THE go to pre-makeup skin …

First of all if you're prone to any sensitivity or redness - get a sample first. This is choc-full-up-the-wazoo with fragrance oils.

But for my mediterranean, oil-loving skin (NC35). It's lovely.
I have quite the extensive cleansing routine at night so at the very end, post serums and moisturising, this makes a lovely barrier for all the other goodness i've put on …
