I've tried ever so many primers from $40/tube [!!! can't believe I paid that] to just a few dollars and this one beats them all & not just in price. My biggest complaint with primers in general is that if your not careful they will "pill or ball" once you begin to apply a foundation. I tried both the High Adherence & the Spreadability. The Spreadability which is like …Read more

First let me say that I am a very strong believer in OTC Retinol products used in the PM and Vitamin C serums used in the AM. This combination does work, not overnight, but after 30-60 days you will begin to see a difference!!!! [depending of course on how much sun damage your skin has].

I began using OTC Retinol's about 4 years ago, starting with AfirmX cream, and this product is …

Makeup Brushes - MAC Cosmetics - #130 Short Duo Fibre Brush

This is my first MAC foundation brush. I was using another brand of foundation brush similar in size & diameter to the MAC 187. The 130 is indeed considerably smaller than the 187 (which appeared to be a major factor in many reviews I read prior to purchase), however, I like the smaller size as it is much easier to use given the shorter handle. I read reviews of the 130 that complained that …Read more

My review is on Latisse (have not tried the generic, yet). All I can say is the same as everyone else, it really does work! I've always had long full lashes but now that I'm in my early 60's I began to notice that they were thinning out somewhat, so I decided to see if Latisse helped. Well, it did. I've been using Latisse for about 6 weeks and after 3 weeks I began to notice …Read more

I have Very Fine, Very Limp natural blond hair that by its nature, is not in the least bit what I would call thick. Over the years, I have tried just about every product on the market priced from cheap to downright ridiculous and to date nothing has given me the fullness and body like Patene's Pro V Fine Hair Solutions!! I'm on my second bottle of shampoo and until someone out there …Read more

Mar/18/2010

I've tried several different creams from drugstore to pricey and to date this is one of the very best. It has made my skin more firm and for daytime wear, it works well under my foundation. At night, I use if after Affirm X (retinol cream), when I wake up my skin definitely feels and appears more firm.

I've read some of the "negative" reviews about this cream, most …

I've used Olay products for years, especially their Regenerist line. So I decided to give the Pro-X line a shot. Well, I'm on my second jar, I love this cream, in application it feels a lot like the Regenerist Serum that is its "silky soft" , it leaves my skin soft and smooth but not greasy. After over a month of use I've noticed that my skin feels more firm and for a 61 …Read more

I have extemely fine natural blonde hair that I have highlighted to help add texture and body. I have always had to use at least 2 styling products to get texture and body, otherwise my hair laid flat to my head making me look like someone's lap dog. My cut is a short above the ear bob and I like the slightly toussled look. I've tried numerous gels, pomades, waxes, etc, all left my …Read more

I must admit I am one of those women who will go down fighting! Over the past several years I have done more research than a PHD candidate on eye and face creams...what works and what is just a lot of overpriced hype. I've tried many different eye creams/ gels from one end of the price range to the other. And to date, One 3000 for Eyes does what it says it will do. The impressive …Read more

I have extremely fine & thin natural blond professionally highlighted hair that is cut in a short (above the ear) bob. I have tried about every brand on the market in hopes for some texture and lift (without which my hair lays flat giving me a Sheep Dog look). After trying this product I was amazed. It does not weigh my hair down, does not make it sticky or hard to comb, I get the texture I …Read more
