I've been using this cream in a tube for about a week. I'm using it on my face and chest (to start with) for Seborrheic Keratoses (SK). I've decided to try a home remedy instead of getting them burned or scraped off by a derm which can cause serious long-lasting/permanent hyperpigmentation and I've got a lot of them (derm would be too expensive). Anyway, I read that 35% or …Read more

I bought this based on recommendations here on MUA. This review if for my son (16 yo) who has eczema prone/dry skin. Although it's a bit expensive ($16), I don't mind buying it for him. He's very picky and it's hard to get him to use products he doesn't like. He absolutely loves this cream. I never have to remind him to put lotion on. He rubs it all over his body (except …Read more

I absolutely love this shampoo. You can use it alone or use it like I do as a base for additional products. I use this to make my own shampoo (I have seborrheic dermatitis) and it's working out great. I posted my recipe on my notepad. This has a mild scent, lathers very well. Doesn't strip or dry out hair. I love being able to customize my shampoo. No more itchy, flaky scalp …Read more

I bought a bottle of this shampoo at Dermstore.com for about $12 (10% off if you add it to you favorites and free shipping). I like the bottle the shampoo comes in. It only requires one hand to press the top open (no screwing off caps). The shampoo is a creamy peach color. Not too runny and smells pleasant. With all that said, it doesn't quite work as well as other products I've tried …Read more

I highly recommend this for seborrheic dermatitis and acne (esp cystic acne). I used to use this (when I had insurance) and it was very effective. You only need a very small amount and leave on skin at least 20 seconds. I don't wear makeup but if I did, I'd remove makeup first and then use this. I had a huge bottle (about 32 ounces) and it lasted me over 2 years, using it everyday …Read more

Skincare - Body - Coastal Scents - Unrefined Shea Butter

Although I find this unrefined shea butter moisturizing and long-lasting (moisturizes me all day), it is a little hard to apply. Previously I bought unrefined shea butter from agbangakarite.com (see my review) and decided to try Coastal Scents because I had heard good things about it and it was cheaper. When I say it's hard to apply, I mean that it doesn't glide easily on the skin (even …Read more

I tried this and it didn't work for me at all. Maybe I didn't take enough of it. The thing that worked for me (recommended by my doctor) was Benadryl caplets (Tylenol PM also works). 3 Benadryls and I slept like a baby. Actually it made me sleep a little too well (groggy in the a.m.) but it works great when I don't have to get up early.

First I have to say that my dog is not used to getting her nails clipped. Yes, I'm a bad owner. All of my previous dogs groomed their nails outside on the cement. Anyway, I have to practically lay on my dog to keep her still enough so that I can use this on her. And I feel that the handle is somewhat backwards. Would work better if I were left-handed. Ah well, I will keep trying.

This review is for the edible one sold in health food stores (that you keep refrigerated). I use this for face masks, face moisturizer or to dampen hair. This stuff is awesome. When I was having a seborrheic dermatiits breakout, I applied about a tbsp of this to my face and the itch stopped right away. It's so soothing. I can't use it as my only moisturizer though but I do use it to …Read more

I bought this months ago and forgot to review. It worked fairly well but I was a bit weary since the container doesn't say what the ingredients mix of polyethylene glycols are exactly. The texture is a bit off putting. It's creamy but is very thick (heavy) and uncomfortable for me. The smell didn't bother me and I didn't find the smell very strong. I stopped using this after I …Read more
