Lip Treatments - Unlisted Brand - Lansinoh Lanolin

I became a mother this year and used a heap of Lansinoh while adjusting to breastfeeding. One day in desperation with my cracked dry lips I dug this out of my bag and put it on my lips. Instant relief!! It's one of the few things I can put on my lips that's still there in the morning. I also like the tube packaging so you're not digging around in a gross little pot getting product …Read more

Hair - John Frieda - Luminous Glaze Clear Shine Gloss

This is a bit of a mixed one. I found absolutely no effect from using this as a post conditioner shine rinse. Using it in the weekly method - saturate dry hair with it, leave 20 mins then shampoo and condition as usual- worked a bit. It did give a bit of extra shine but its main benefits were in making my fine hair feel thicker and smoother. An added bonus is in locking in colour. This does make …Read more

I love this oil, I don't love the price! All the ingredients are readily available (sweet almond, jojoba, rice bran and vit E oils) which you can mix for a tiny fraction of the price. I've done this with great success. Anyway it works very well to soften the cuticles and keep the nail plate flexible. My nails are too thin to grow without any help but I can imagine that for many this oil …Read more

Gels/ Soaps - The Body Shop - Brazil Nut Shower Cream

How are there not more reviews of this?? OMG the smell is divine. Chocolatey, nutty, with hints of vanilla and caramel. Yum! On the side it noted that it is not suitable for consumption and I can totally understand why. It works well as a shower cream. Gets you clean without drying out your skin. A delight every morning.

I love this colour!! It's a vampy deep purple with a silver shimmer. As a previous reviewer commented I love the fact that this doesn't just look black. You can tell it's a colour. It also doesn't have any muddy brown tones which lots of purples do. Two coats provided opaque coverage. I can see my brush stokes a little on my right hand as my application isn't great …Read more

Treatments - Sally Hansen - Salon Manicure Cuticle Eraser + Balm

I'm in two minds over this one. On the plus side it does moisturise my cuticles well - and doesn't leave then feeling dry again in a few hours. It also smells lovely. But on the minus side - the attractive white and green swirl combines to a light green that actually looks grey when it collects near the cuticle. It's an ugly look. It works well for night time but I actually bought …Read more

I bought the kit in raspberry wine recently and the French manicure polish. I have the raspberry on by toes and had a crack at the French mani on my fingers.

I really love it. It's in between a standard nail polish and a gel mani that you'd get at a salon. I don't get a full 2 weeks wear - more like 7-10 days. But as I'd usually chip in 24 hours I'm pretty …

Misc Beauty Tools - Unlisted Brand - Scholl Express Pedi Electronic Foot File

This is an amazing foot file. Essentially it's like a manual foot file except battery powered. This means you don't have to spend hours and end up with aching arms for a great result. The pile of skin dust it produces is pretty amazing. I do have some concerns: it is very expensive ($49 in Australia, $20 for 2 replacement heads), batteries are expensive to replace and it is possible to …Read more

Skincare - Face - La Roche-Posay - Thermal Spring Water

Look...this is truly just water in a can. If you think it can do much other than wet your face you'll believe anything. Having said that I use this to set my makeup. I tried it after all the setting sprays broke me out and I read somewhere that it's actually the mist rather than the ingredients that helps your makeup last. I can't say I've noticed a big difference in my makeup …Read more
