Even though this hair dryer is very expensive, I decided to get it for a few reasons. I have naturally wavy hair that can be dried straight pretty easily, but I always went to work with wet hair because I hate using heat on my hair since it damages it over time. I work in a professional office, though, so I felt like having wet hair every day wasn't ideal. Also, as I said, I hated heat …Read more
These are ideal cleansing cloths for me and my daughter. We both have oily skin, and these are quick to use, leaving the skin very clean and soft. My daughter uses these before school because she's in a hurry, and at night, I'm confident all my makeup is off when I use these, though I do use eye makeup remover beforehand since using the Pond's cloth takes too long for mascara …Read more
I love this lipstick, and I'm lucky to have it because I wouldn't have picked it on my own. I asked a MAC SA to help me pick shades because I already had a few MAC lipsticks, and I wanted to step away from my comfort zone. She said Fresh Moroccan would be a good shade for fall, and she was right. On me, it's a red with a fuschia berry undertone that's infused with golden …Read more
I wish I had known about Smut years ago. I picked it up only because it was recommended by a beauty blogger for fair skin, and it turns out the rec is right on. I'm around the 15-20 skin shades in MAC, and I tend to find blacks and heavy grays too dark for me. Smut is a cool toned, smoky charcoal that blends beautifully. I use it to emphasize my crease, create smoky eyes, and to line my …Read more
I've used this shampoo for weeks, and I think it's a good choice for fine hair. My hair is long, fine, wavy, and on the oily and/or frizzy side with the wrong products. Diametress leaves me with clean, soft, bouncy hair that doesn't look heavy and gunky the day after a wash.
The formula and feel of this shampoo is a bit different. It looks similar to honey, clear and …Read more
I love most everything about this cleanser. It's white and pearly with a soft, floral scent that I find luxurious, and a pea-sized amounts creates a rich, balmy lather that always feels great during washing. It removes all my makeup (after I've removed mascara), and it rinses cleanly. I honestly think this product feels like something Shiseido would sell, even though it cost me $2.50 …Read more
I'm very happy with this conditioner, and I think it's one of the best I've ever used. I've used it for a couple weeks to see whether it weighs down or gunks up my fine, long hair, but it's still doing a great job.
My hair is fine, but wavy/curly and halfway down my back, and it gets greasy easily if I use heavy shampoos or conditioners because I live in humid …Read more
I have read that this mascara is very popular. I don't know why. It's not any better than many drugstore mascaras, and it's not remarkable unto itself. With many mascaras, I can create very long, dramatic lashes with a couple coats. With this stuff, I get hardly any volume or length, and it actually seems to droop and straighten my lashes because it's wet and heavy in …Read more
I love this soap. I know it's just a bar soap, but the scent, lather, and cleansing qualities are really enjoyable. I started using this after I became unhappy with my Victoria's Secret body wash. That stuff smells great, but I felt it did a poor job cleansing and deodorizing. I ended up feeling dirty later in the day, given the hot summer weather. I now use Dr. Bronner's bar soap …Read more
