I have always loved the idea of using facial oils - shorter ingredient lists, less harmful ingredient, and usually the implication of more natural ingredients; to be used for massage, and doubling as a moisturizer for the face.

However, after trying a dozen of oils since a young age - jojoba (well, a wax, technically), almond, apricot kernel, rosehip seed, avocado, tamanu… and the …

Hands down, the best makeup (and sunscreen) remover that I've ever come across! Cleans my skin so very deeply, yet somehow leaves my skin moisturized and soft-as-a-baby's-butt after each use.

Really, this is so amazing; eye makeup, even, is removed thoroughly and easily. Better yet -- TMI alert -- when I really massage it into my skin, applying some force, I can feel tiny …

Removes makeup well, without tugging. However, compared to Biore's Makeup Remover Perfect Oil (a product I discovered on my Asia trip last summer), this:
- doesn't remove makeup as well, especially eye makeup;
- leaves my skin too dry;
- is more expensive.

Also, I found Biore's cleanser more convenient: the pump allows for faster dispensing of the …

Nah, this was just too thick and waxy. I tried warming it up between my palms to help it glide on more easily, but still found it too thick. It leaves a temporary film on your skin for a very long time - that's why I only use it at night. The following morning it would have sunk in and my skin left moisturized, but it did not hydrate my skin any more than other lotions I have tried. Since it …Read more

I reallly liked the souffle-like creamy texture and the smell, but the latter unfortunately ended up being too strong both for my nose and my skin. Every single time that I have tried to use it my body starts (and won't stop) itching. Even though I put on a decent amount I did not feel that this mositurized much at all. Have found cheaper creams which does a better job of moisturizing.

Wow! This is the best body lotion that I have ever tried. Although I'm a skincare fanatic, I have always found applying body lotions so boring and unneccesary. But seeing how this has improved my skin and feels so good to use, I have been using this almost daily for a long time now.

I usually steer away from Garnier products - I'm not into their skincare products for face …

I had this years ago. Don't remember what shade I got, but I remember it being too dark and beige, thus making my undereye area looking greyish (I prefer more salmon or peach-based shades instead of beige or white/ivory/yellow). Either it was that the lightest color was too dark on me, or the lightest was too light and white, and that's why I ended up with a shade darker (but too dark) …Read more

No, and no.
The shade the SA gave me, 20 Beige clair. Initially, it did seem a little dark on my NC15 skin. After wearing it a couple of times and realizing the color was way off, I made multiple swatches on my arm, only to reveal that it oxidizes to about one shade darker (!), turning quite peachy orange.
I have had YSL TE multiple times, and I would say that the TE is more creamy …

This is pretty good, been a staple of mine since I discovered it a few years back. It's rich, but it does not have that super-thick consitency of many foot creams have that I loathe. This one is much thinner and more gel-like, yet it moisturizes my dry feet very well. Among the ingredients are lemon fruit acid which helps slough off dead skin. It does soften hard skin, though if you have …Read more

This is sooo gooood. Honestly, the best moisturizer I've ever tried! I guess I bought this because it is supposed to be for "first signs of ageing". I don't have any wrinkles yet (I'm 25), but have some enlarged pores, and my skin seems much 'rougher' than what it was a few years back. (I used to have very good skin, with a poreless appearance, people even …Read more
