Despite its name, this shampoo made my hair feel drier and less smooth than what I was using previously. The scent is a generic floral that disappears quickly. It foamed up well and seemed to clean without residue, but this is a pass.

This is my HG night time moisturizer. It has just enough weight and hydration in the formulation to smooth dry skin without feeling greasy. It sinks in and keeps any flakiness from using tretinoin away. As my skin has become drier over the years, I've started using this year round. It's too much for day time use, but it's a staple for night time and it layers well with other …Read more

Sunscreen - Topix - Replenix UltiMATTE Perfection SPF 50+

This is a silicone heavy sunscreen that goes on smoothly and dries to a beautiful matte finish, just as the name suggests. I found it easy to apply and it provides sufficient sun protection. It's very like MDSolarsciences BB cream, although the finish on this is more elegant and seems to work better as a primer. Unfortunately, the tint is far too dark for my NC20-25 skin. If Replenix came …Read more

Ridiculously expensive but a great product. The wedge-shaped tip makes precise application easy, and it goes on light enough that's it's hard to overdo, but it's also buildable for more emphasized brows. I've found it lasts all day without the fading I was getting from my previous brow powder. With a sharpener inside the casing and a spoolie on the other end, you have all the …Read more

Plumberry is a juicy raspberry shade that has a slight jelly-like finish when two coats are applied. I use this with a topcoat of Seche Vite and find it to be very long wearing with no chipping issues. Great for summer but just deep enough that it works in cooler weather as well.

I've used this for years with great results. My hair is 3A curly, but thermally straightened and colored. Cloud 9 provides good moisturizing with just enough slip and a clean scent. It rinses easily, even in hard water. Love this stuff.

A natural, soft pink that's easy to wear on fair/light medium skin tones. Blends well with a smooth texture. Price is high considering the pan is small and the same size as BB eyeshadows.

While this is a cool-toned color, to my eye this name is a misnomer since the color is far more brown than gray. It looks muddy in the pan as well as on my NC20 coloring. I'll give it a few more tries to see if there are better ways to wear it (currently using as a wash with BB Ivory) but I don't foresee reaching for this often.

I don't wear foundation, and really dislike putting much more on my skin other than SPF and a dusting of powder/blush. This is a fantastic product for someone like me. It's a mousse-light formulation that smooths on the skin and blends beautifully. I'm an NC20, and I'm using the Light/Medium option. It looks much too dark straight out of the tube, but it sheers out well and …Read more
