I don't get this moisturizer, I guess. My skin is normal to dry. It doesn't really moisturize my skin very well, not even mixed with a dab of a ceramide serum or squalane and applied over several plumping serums that contain hyaluronic acid. I purchased this color sight unseen. As I have aged, I am much pickier about lipstick texture. The sweet spot for me lately is a non-drying soft matte liquid formula, which isn't easy to find. I think the first time I bought the sadly now discontinued Shiseido Mascara Base, I got a packet of 50 as a gift. Love them. So soft, don't shed, perfect for applying my Biologique Recherche P50V. I stock up on Sephora VIB or on the rare times when other department stores that carry Shiseido have 20% off.
In my search to replace the discontinued Shiseido mascara base, I tried this. This is worse than nothing for me. It literally took all the curl out of my just curled lashes. Tried it over and under mascara. Same disgusting results either way. At least it's very cheap. If I had spent $25 which was about the price of the Shiseido, I would be livid.
