Scrubs - Kiehl's - Epidermal Re-Texturizing Micro-Dermabrasion

Seriously, one of the best face scrubs I have ever used. As an Esthetician, I have tried many scrubs but this one almost gives your skin the feel and the results of a microdermabrasion treatment. I was given a free sample of this last time I went to the Kiehls free standing store and went back the next day and bought the full size. That is one thing I really like about Khiels stores, they are …Read more

Hair - Kiehl's - Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Repairative Hair Pak

I would give this product a solid 3 lippies. It's okay but I didn't like it enough to repurchase. Not moisturizing enough to be called a hair mask. Not a miracle worker for $25 a tub. Other masks on the market work better and are at the same or even lower price range. I also didn't like it comes in tub because I have it hold it carefully so that I don't drop it in the shower …Read more

Styling Products - Oribe - Straight Away Smoothing Blowout Cream

When I first tried this product, I liked it. I applied in sections like the directions states. I did help straighten and smooth out my hair but after a few weeks, it dried out my hair and added unmanageabilty. Its basically pure silicone and polymers mixed with drying alcohol which causes alot of build up. Overall, my hair seems to not like it. It has a consistancy of elmer's school glue …Read more

Hair Treatments - Phyto - PHYTOSPECIFIC Thermoperfect 8 Heat Protecting Serum

I decided try this product because I love Phyto styling products especially the Phytokeratine Repairing Thermal Protectant Spray but I was looking for something else similar that will last longer since I go though the bottle so quickly. Phyto Specific is made by Phyto but is designed for curly hair. It took a long time for me to find Thermoperfect 8 at Ulta cause it was in the back of the store …Read more

Concealers - MAC Cosmetics - Pro Longwear Concealer

I tried this concealer and had to return it. The packaging was annoying and wasteful. I wore NW15 since I'm fair and it was a good match for a brightening effect. I usually like to go one or two shades lighter under my eyes for brightening. Although its does have good staying power, I like full coverage and this did not really give FULL COVERAGE. I can still see dark circles under my eyes …Read more

Treatments (Face) - La Roche-Posay - Active C XL

I recieved a small tube sample of this from my last visit at Target. Good thing that I didn't pay for this product because it's really bad. I like a few other products fom La Roche Posey, like their Tolarine face wash. I applied this light lotion before bed for a few days. It is sticky and it stinks. A funky smell all on my pillows and face when I woke up in the morning. At first it …Read more

Conditioner - L'Oreal Paris - L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil - Nourishing Conditioner for Dull, Dry Hair

This conditioner sucks! Like another reviewer mentioned, it is a think cream that makes your hair feel nicely conditioned in the shower. After my hair dries, it made my hair frizzy and knotted like it wasn't even conditioned. I think the crappy ingredients didn't penetrate my hair at all, it just coated it. I didn't like the smell unless you like smell of cheap old lady cologne …Read more

Treatments (Eye) - Soap & Glory - Puffy Eye Attack Turbo-Boost Hydragel

This eye cream from Soap & Glory is pretty good for the price. I purchased it at Target for like $16 bucks. I usually use my HG Merle Norman Anti-Aging Eye Complex but for $60 a jar, I thought I can use this eye cream in between when I run out and have to wait for my next paycheck to buy Merle Norman. This eye gel/cream has a nice and smooth consistency when you put it on. After a few …Read more

Styling Products - Oribe - Royal Blowout Hair Styling Spray

I don't love this product but I don't dislike it either. I think it's way over priced for the results though. I really love the Gold Lust shampoo and conditioner from Oribe. So have been slowly switching my hair styling products to Oribe as I really like Straight Away straighting balm. I purchased the travel size of Royal Blowout $22 just to try it out before spending $69 for the …Read more

Liquid - Estée Lauder - Double Wear Stay-In-Place Liquid Makeup

I received a free sample of Estee Lauder Double Wear in 1N1 Ivory Nude which matches my neck pretty well but still looks ghostly on me. I have to use a light dusting of bronzer all over and a lot blush to help not make it look so pasty and to even out my face. I currently use Lancome Teint Idole Ultra in 140 Ivory N or Merle Norman Lasting Foundation they both match perfectly and doesn't …Read more
