I own this palette in the Caramel/Toffee shade and I think it works great with my skin tone (NC45 for reference) Both the highlighting and contouring powders are smooth and pigmented and the shades are gorgeous. The only downfall is the packaging as mine has cracked twice whilst in my makeup bag so I wouldn't say it is travel friendly but for £5 you can't go wrong!
I honestly love this lip conditioner! I thought £12.50 sounded crazy for a lip balm but after using a gift card for my first purchase I have since bought two of these. I have quite dry lips and whenever I apply other lipbalms (and I've tried A LOT of them) my lips seem to dry out within 5 minutes, this however keeps the lips looking moisturised and feeling luxurious for a long time.
An ok concealer. Medium coverage, applies smoothly but doesn't do much for brightening the under eye or covering blemishes. If it cannot cover flawlessly I cannot see how this is a HD appropriate concealer, it has now become my 'work' concealer just so I can get some use out of it. I will not be repurchasing.
Probably the worst setting powder I've tried to date. After using the baking technique with this under the eyes it felt light and not cakey at all but it provided no sort of coverage which is what I require from a Banana powder, not so much to cover pigmentation but to seal and highlight the under eyes. Its a no from me, better alternatives are the LA Girl pro powder in banana or Ben …Read more
I bought this product after seeing Amrezy constantly post about it on snapchat. After using it a few times it reminded me why I've never loved cream foundations! They are just harder to work with and blend than liquids and I found myself constantly dipping my brush back in to the product (which isn't great for sanitary reasons) My compact is now so dirty I don't use it anymore and …Read more
Not only do I absolutely love NYX butter glosses but all my girl friends do to! Pigmented, creamy with the loveliest sweet cake smell. They apply beautifully and have every colour you could wish for from nudes to deep purples, not to mention they are only £4/£5 depending on where you purchase them. You can't go wrong.
I purchased this to use it as a colour corrector beneath makeup but unfortunately it's just too thick! It is very pigmented yes but it has such a moist slip to it that it's almost impossible to layer anything on top of it (let alone concealer or setting powder) Will not be repurchasing.
