I am an LLL, neutral to warm, Bobbi Brown Sand/Ivory, Shu Uemura 574 and Shiseido Asia OC-00/OC-10. My skin is normal to dry. I have rosacea, but haven't had any breakouts lately, fortunately!

Being a huge fan of Lunasol products, I bought this foundation months ago and, since then, I must say it has become my favourite. I bought it in OC-2, which is a perfect match for my skin tone, as described above.

Packaging-wise, I must say I really love the square and heavy glass jar it comes within, however, the foundation tends to accumulate a bit at the top. It is not a major problem, but I need to clean it regularly so it does not get messy. The little spatula is very cute and handy and I wish some other brands (such as BB) would also include one. If they only realised how important it is!

I apply this foundation over my Sofina creamy primer and use a foundation brush to do so, with little patting movements, so it spreads well. I love the Sana brush, which has a short handle and very firm bristles.

Its texture is amazing, creamy and smooth, like whipped cream. Soft, it leaves my skin like glowing from within, and I would say the finishing is satiny. Not really matte, nor shiny either, but something between these two. Satiny and luminous.

It does not crease or settle into fine lines and never looks cakey. It is just perfect! Also, I have experienced no irritations whatsoever and the product is absolutely unscented. I must say I would not mind a bit if it was lightly scented, but this is not the case.

I like to use it on its own, with no powder to settle, since it leaves skin so naturally luminous. However, when I really need to use some powder I normally reach for my Shu Uemura Face Powder Sheer in Pearl, which gives a wonderful luminous finishing and does not "interfere" with the glowing effect of Water Cream. I might also use my Lunasol Skin Fusion compact foundation (powder) to settle it, since it is so fine and sheer, but I have not tried it yet.

Overall, it is a wonderful product and I would not think twice about buying it again!
