This product is fantastic. I will never use another similar product on my hair.

I flat iron my hair weekly. I never used to use a product on my hair, but when a friend ironed it for me she used something called Carrot Oil, which I used for a little under a year. It smelled, but it added moisture to my hair.

A friend of mine (a stylist) colored and ironed my hair and used this in it, and I was hooked. I am biracial (Caucasian & African-American), and this product makes my hair unbelieveably soft, smooth and silky. It smells fantastic. My sister, who has VERY coarse hair and a very tight curl, will use this hair and it feels healthier and softer than I ever remember it being.

The other thing I love about this product is that it is very light. I've used Aphogee, John Freida, etc., and they were all very sticky and as soon as I used them I needed to wash my hands (and still had a hard time getting the gunk off). With this product, it actually has a suggested use of a moisturizer for your hands - I've never washed this stuff off my hands, I just rub it in if there's extra left over.

In my opinion, this is an expensive product (I paid $36.95, and no tax since I bought it at home in Oregon), which is something I don't spend on hair products. I was nervous about spending this much money on a product. I'm no longer worried; this bottle (12 oz) will last me at least two years (I bought it in October 2006, it is now March 2007, and I haven't even used a quarter of the bottle). It isn't available everywhere (when I moved to Illinois I couldn't find where it was sold, emailed LOMA, and found they have no distributor here)... however, after emailing the company, they suggested as a trusted vendor from which to buy it.
