I have pretty normal skin, just slightly combination in the t-zone, especially in the summer months.
I found the way I like to apply this foundation (NC20 it's the perfect match for me): I use the smallest amount and I spread it all over my face using my fingers. This way it lasts all day without a problem.
I then use Pro Longwear Concealer in NW20 under my eyes and Studio Finish Concealer in NC20 with a MAC 130 where I have some redness or scars from old blemishes to cover.
This way I have a natural long lasting base, that I set just with some Prep & Prime Pressed Powder in the t-zone (and I keep it with me so I can do any touch up if it's a long hot day).
When I was using more foundation (I used to apply a "normal" amount of it, a pump, with a brush or with my fingers) it was just looking horrible and cakey and it would slide off my face in a matter of hours.
