This is a surprise. I bought it on a whim after trying a sample from Elle magazine. Ironically the sample was a W3 golden beige which was a good match. i think during summer tan time i would use W4 which is more yellow. For reference i'm NC25-30 in SSF & use C3 in the powder to stop shine. What struck me is this makes your skin look fresh & bright. It does have a sheen to it, not major but enough for combination/oily girls to pack some powder in their handbag for back up. It does oxidize which didnt concern me as the W3 does look a bit pasty in the bottle. It glides on easily and blends well, no concealer required and it didnt transfer that i noticed. No detectable scent and felt really lightweight with no irritation. It doesnt stretch, so will accentuate lines around the mouth etc but not on fine lines. Wears off a bit but overall i'm pleased. I'll always be a mac die hard but i got a bottle of this for day wear when i want to give my face a break from from good old studio fix. Check the link below for a great swatch comparison between mac & true match.
