FINALLY! Noone knows what I have gone through to find the HG foundation. I have used everything including spending an outrageous amount for La Prairie's (which is nice, but not for 150.00)
Anyway, when the makeup artist at the McEvoy counter put this on me, I was shocked how it covered every imperfection. I have problems at the age of 45 getting the hormonal pimples around my chin area. (Oh joy!) I have scars now that I have to use concealer, them my Shiseido #2 concealer pencil (love this pencil on covering things) and then foundation. I still would have to end up adding more later on due to the little lovelies showing through. Not so with this foundation. I have flawless skin for hours. My 27 year old daughter is going there next week to get a makeover so she can get the products. Especially the foundation.
I have fair to medium skin color. VERY slight olive. I am the type that you can't tell I have an olive tone until you pair me next to someone with pink tones. He used the vanilla color on me which looks like it was custom made just for me. You can't even tell I am wearing anything on my face. another huge bonus!! Ladies, don't walk, RUN to the nearest MCEvoy counter and try this. One more thing, it is cream based that turns to powder and doesn't crease or after going to the powder, accent any lines on your face. I have had that in the past as well with powders. I am in love! (Can you tell?)
UPDATE: It still covers well, but I have noticed that the cake foundation is starting to dry up a bit in its container and is not going on as smoothly as it did at first. I took off 1 lippie for this. It still covers well, though it seems a bit cakey now. continued >>
