I used to wear Studio Fix powder foundation until one day I noticed my skin is getting oiler and oiler and the product seemed to 'float' on top of my face (yuck!). So, after researching through the reviews here, I decided to try MUFE's matte powder.

Super Mat Loose Powder really DOES THE JOB it is supposed to do. I have very minimal shine on my face now. The powder is finely milled (though not as fine as Shu Uemura's). For a matte powder, it does let my skintone show through for a natural finish. I pair this with MAC Mineralize foundation, and this combo seems to control oil very well for me. I wear #16 Light Beige for my MMM NC35 complexion.

However, I'm not too hot about the packaging. The powder seems to get trapped in between the screw-on cap, and leaves a mess whenever I open the jar. The holes in the sifter is too huge that it let out too much powder. This definitely is product wastage, so I'm taking a lippie off for that.

I got a lot of product for the amount I paid (28g for USD 28). Maybe it's because MUFE is cheaper in Malaysia. One jar will definitely last me a while. continued >>
