Surprisingly there are no reviews for this product yet so I'll try to be as thorough as possible. I never heard of Mehron until one of my favourite youtube gurus from the UK, Wayne Goss, raved about it on his Best Products of the Year video and >pow< instant lemming! Let me preface this review by saying 1) I prefer a natural, almost no-makeup look to foundation--therefore although it's not ideal for me in terms of coverage I'm not deducting lippies based on my personal preference--I'd really give it 4.5 stars if possible and 2) I wasn't able to test/try this at a retailer in person before ordering.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: Customer Service at Mehron was outstanding! I got excellent follow-up and assistance in selecting a colour which is pretty close to being an exact match. Can't recommend them more in terms of customer service.

PACKAGING: I believe these come either as a full set for pros in a range of colours and are also sold individually for consumers. The packaging is basic, nothing glam, a round black plastic container with clear screw-off cap--but at least it's sturdy and the lack of bulky, excess packaging makes it great for travel or tossing in a makeup bag for touch-ups. The amt. of product is also generous, at .9 oz [25 gm]. No applicator is included.

PRODUCT: This is a medium-full coverage, easily buildable cream foundation; and that's probably where it falls a bit short for me as I personally prefer a more natural, undetectible coverage. Unlike the Maybelline Smooth Mousse Cream which felt like spackle, this has a much silkier, lovely texture and blended effortlessly--[I applied it with a Paula Dorf taklon cream blush brush; as well as the Sonia Kashuk flat-topped brush and her version of the BeautyBlender sponge.] I wouldn't recommend this for oily skin, or for very dry skin. Like most cream foundations it'll be too emollient for oily skins and if you have any dry flakes [as I do from retinol use] they will show easily with a cream finish makeup. This is probably best suited for normal to slight combo skin in conjunction with a translucent setting powder in the t-zone. It claims to contain seemingly good anti-oxidant ingredients like vitamin E, pomogranate and aloe vera.

COLOUR: This foundation comes in a hugely impressive colour range for all undertones and ethnicities. For reference, I typically fall in the light-medium category with a neutral undertone. [An exact match for me is Revlon's ColorStay Active Light in Sand Beige. I also wear Armani LSF in #5, Bobbi Brown in Sand, Laura Mercier's TM in Nude, Physician's Formula Healthy Wear TM in Light to Natural-summertime only.] The Mehron HD in Medium / ME 1 is a close match for me; perhaps a fraction lighter and more yellow-leaning than my true skintone.

LONGEVITY: I can't comment on this aspect too thoroughly as I typically don't wear foundation for long periods. I did set it with a light, translucent powder in my t-zone [Laura Mercier's Translucent, or MAC's Blot Powder] and for the few hours I've been wearing it on my normal/dry wintertime skin it held up pretty well with no fading, separating, settling into lines or other unwanted side-effects. The finish is really lovely.

COST: Unbelievably inexpensive given the amount and quality of the product.

OVERALL: 4.5 stars; excellent value, consistency and colour range--highly recommend to anyone with normal/slight combo skin who likes a buildable cream foundation and a medium-full coverage.
