Very pleased with this. Have not purchased a full sized container yet because I wanted to find a color match. I love the way this feels and looks and even though isn't as light as I would like, it blends and works perfectly. Thank goodness I was able to buy refill size first for about $8 vs. $20 +. Paint and Powder Store sells them and unlike buying them from Graftobian, you won't have to have a $30 minimum. They also make $3.99 samples of creme version which is a great way to try before you buy the full size. I have tried "Bombshell" in the creme and it's just okay. I'm glad I didn't buy a full size. I am finding that my skin does much better with powders and cakes as I want a full coverage, matte finish and have oily and blotchy skin. I'm pale with some capillaries on my cheeks that are very difficult to cover and this powder version seems to get the job done over concealer. I like the Ben Nye Cake too but it took me several cake purchases to get the right color (Rose Blush). Ben Nye cakes do not like anything underneath them or they can slide and look icky, I am using the spray Clean and Clear Oil Free Moisturizer and was smearing on a milk of mag layer but that's all that Ben will tolerate. This Graftobian HD Powder Foundation seems to tolerate everything from moisturizers to primer without any problems. It even has a cool feel to it like a Velvet Slime Anenome squishy toy if any of you know how neat that feels. I am a pale neutral and prefer a pinky tone and decided to first try the Fair Maiden, which was mucho impressive, although not light enough, the stuff blends like magical rainbows and shamrocks and is completely wearable. I am just getting out of an exclusive long term relationship with Sheer Cover, and even their lightest always gave me neck face demarcation line. This one doesn't. Just ordered "Cool Breeze" and "Porcelain Doll" and as suspected, the latter is too yellow but could easily be passable in a pinch with some doctoring. "Cool Breeze" is nice, and again, you won't get super light with these but they look and feel incredible. I got them within just a few days from P&PStore and want to try some of the other brands they list in their candy store. They carry Natural Born Cosmetics, which look neat and are on my list along with Kryolan to try out next. Since Kryolan is a bit pricier than Ben Nye and I don't have anywhere nearby to view the colors, I'll have to wait to see them in person since I don't have the discretionary cash to keep on trying to get the color right. Ben Nye Cakes are troblesome ONLY for that reason, otherwise lovely. They don't look a bit like the colored dots in the catalog. Ben Nye customer service is super sweet though and helped me pick colors and places to purchase. Graftobian and Kryolan CS, not as much. Onward in search of my HG. I just want the Lime Crime girl's face. Maybe next life.
