This review is for the Moroccan Oil LIGHT (i couldnt find it listed separately so have to write it here). My hair:- Long, Fine to Medium Texture (but plenty of it), slightly wavy, Oily roots, Normal lengths, Dryish ends that split easily due to heat styling.Wow! I was scared of using this product on my hair for 3 main reasons: 1). I thought it would make my hair look greasy - I've tried to use various oils on my hair in the past, and no matter how tiny an amount i use my hair always looks lank and greasy and overly saturated in oil.2). Im scared of using too much silicones - i thought it would build up on my hair and make it appear dirty and coated.3). I was worried that it would be too heavy - i thought it would likely weigh my hair down and pull out my waves. Despite my fears i decided to give the Light version of Moroccan Oil a try since i've started using a high-heat triple barrel waving tong on my hair a lot recently, and it was causing noticeable dryness and damage to my ends.I tipped the bottle up tight against my palm and the dime-sized imprint of oil that was left when i removed the bottle was rubbed between my hands and fingered through my hair. I put it through the lengths of my hair as well as my dryer tips. Glancing at the mirror i expected to see the result of a lank, greasy, heavy, stuck-together, limp mess (like my previous experiences after sing oils/serums) i was, instead, amazed to see that my hair still had body, bounce and volume!.. but just looked sooo much healthier. This was my main concern, as, rather than wanting straight, sleek, flat hair (which i presumed Moroccan Oil would be best used for) i love big, bouncy, voluminous hair. I'm so happy that with Moroccan Oil Light you can have shiny, healthy looking hair AND still keep your oomph! My previously frazzled looking tips look healthy and smooth and my hair looks so much healthier in general. Oh, and it seems to help protect the hair from further frazzling when using high heat tongs - its a god-send for the very ends & those short fuzzy bits at the sides of my hair that i always seem to fry nomatter what i do.. so i put extra product on those areas - and it still doesnt feel heavy or look greasy even when i use a lot!I thought it was all hype and couldnt believe Moroccan Oil could be any more special than a regular silicone-laden serum, but somehow it works like magic, sooo much better than any 'cone serums or oils ive used in the past. Im definitely buying a full-size of this as soon as my sample runs out. I think it's LOVE!
