Mineralize is a low to medium coverage foundation with light-reflecting properties. I chose this foundation because I wanted something to even-out my skintone, all the while letting my tan and freckles to show through.

The foundation comes in a frosted glass bottle with a pump dispenser, with the option to lock the pump when not in use. This is very hygenic and ideal for travel. The liquid is rather thick, like a gel-cream emulsion. It goes on smooth on the face, blends well and dries to an satiny finish. I find that one pump is enough for my entire face because I like a natural, sheer look. I set the foundation using MUFE Matte Loose Powder. This combination controls shine quite well.

Mineralize provides a dewy glow, all the while without being shiny. It DOES NOT cover imperfections well, so those who prefer more coverage should try something else. It does, however, 'diffuse' minor blemishes, blurring them to make them less noticeable. The shade is a little darker than stated on the bottle. I wear NC35 in StudioFix powder. For Mineralize, my shade is NC30.

All in all, this foundation performs well for me based on my need for minimal and natural coverage. continued >>
