Well I was craving to try this MUFE foundation and I finally got a sample at my local Sephora - I like to try a foundation some days before buying a full bottle – so here I am, reviewing after some days of usage.
I must warn you, I am highly exigent in terms of foundations as I need coverage (have to mask my extended brown patches) but I like lightweight textures and a perfect colour match… so I am very attentive to every detail!
The HD foundation is highly pigmented so a little goes a long way, is very liquid but smooth and is very easily blended into skin.
I used a brush and was easy to spread – does not dry immediately so you have the time to do all the sections of your face and blend together the “seams “ you create with the brush. A little finger patting in the end and it was fine!
The coverage is excellent. Did not need to do a second layer for more coverage – so that’s fine as you end up saving product. And it’s rare to find a 1 layer foundation that does cover well and has such a lightweight texture. The result is natural, you don't end up looking like a mask! That's the big plus!
Staying power is … I am not sure!
In this season here all foundations (a part Double wear, the only one that holds all day) have a hard time to stay put. This one got me a shiny T-zone after a few hours, but I am unsure of the culprit: foundation, powder or just hot weather? I need to try it up in autumn when the weather will be reasonable again, and then update to this extent.

Another doubt I have is the shade range. The SA matched me to a medium tone – Sand n. 125 because in this season I am tanned and my face need to follow the colour of my neck and décolletage; however I was checking the lightest shads of the range (as in winter I am pale for reference a NC15) and I could not find a pale enough shade… they all seemed to have pink undertones (I have yellow undertones); so either the Sephora did not carry the complete shade range or the palest shades could be improved.
I definitely need to try it up in winter (& in lighter shades) and I will update!
