This is a beautiful perfume that is quite different from my usual taste. I wore the original Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Partum Spray years ago but never replaced my bottle after moving. I decided that this new version was the perfect opportunity to bring it back to my collection. says, "A new facet of the COCO MADEMOISELLE personality, amplified by an extreme dose of Patchouli and an Amber accord that combines Tonka Bean and Vanilla from Madagascar.A powerful, deep, irresistible composition." I love All of these notes, especially Tonka Bean and Vanilla. So I decided to blind buy it as it's (at this time anyways) a exclusive that I wouldn't be able to test in store.

It arrived in a beautiful box with beautiful packaging from Chanel. Testing it reminded me of why I used to love the Original so much. But to my untrained nose, I couldn't smell much of a difference. Several others have tried it and said that they can definitely tell the Intense from the Original. But it's fine by me that it does as I don't currently own the Original. This perfume is a sillage monster and wears like iron. I can often still smell the 2 sprays I used the day before when I wake up in the morning. One of the few new perfume releases I can say that about it seems.

Do I think it's worth the price? Absolutely! It's a very well crafted Oriental that is in a beautiful classic Chanel bottle. Will I repurchase? Likely. But with it's amazing longevity, I shouldn't need to anytime soon.

Ahhh, Coco Mad, the citrusy fruitchouli from 2001 that left a thousand copycats in its wake. It’s seamlessly, immaculately appealing. It just smells great, from first spray through last whiff. It won’t offend anyone and will, in fact, delight many.
Yes, I like it and wear it on occasion. No, I don’t love it. It may be a Chanel, but it’s no masterpiece.

In the end, while CM is very well-done for what it is—it bores me. It’s pink and safe and predictable. When compared to some complex classics I own, CM seems almost like a really nice teen shampoo or deodorant by comparison. It has no heft, no gravitas. I’ll stick with the scents many call “old lady,” like Oscar de la Renta and Cinnabar. Those at least make a statement; CM is just amiable but vapid background noise.

This is so pretty I can forgive the commonality of this. I don’t particularly recognize this on every 2nd 3rd 4th et al woman at the mall or office (my office is a horse barn lol!!) I love this thou I got the 3.4oz EDP for xmas it’s fast becoming 1 of my faves I love it for day time ev day wear another #winner from house of chanel this smells like sparkling champagne lovely xxxxxxxxx citrus fruitchouli done RIGHT!! This is so diff than coco which is more mature, austere, stiff. coco mad is a sparkling white wine but coco is a stiff dirty vodka martini !! My mom said this should be my signature scent but I can’t give up eau fraiche Chance EDT just yet. I got 2 women complimenting me last time I wore it. It’s the world’s most sold perfume for a reason. I’m a sheep. Sorry but i like expensive trendy mass produced things sometimes (NARS “O” blush, Urban Decay Naked; Tom Ford Spanish pink lipstick all immediately jump into my mind but there’s more). I think this is a cheerful happy scent. It’s good for every day when you want something easy to throw on. If obscure expensive unique niche perfumes are more your thing then you won’t like this. But House of Chanel is my fave. The most perfumes I own from one company come from chanel. Mass hysteria would set in if this was ever discontinued or majorly reformulated. That’s why CM is easy like Sunday morning (Thanks Lionel Ritchie). This would make a hell of a gift for a younger lady for a first “real” expensive perfume or like a sweet 16 or graduation gift. There is always winter holidays/bday/push gift! I want this in body cream next. I think that will be my next chanel purchase. I have eau fraiche lotion & no. 5 lotion buy lotion is cheaper than body cream & body cream is much more luxurious/fragrant. This is for when I feel pretty & happy w myself which happen that often. But I spray it & i am transported to a different realm where everything is safe, warm, cozy, & bright. =] —- My Chanel’s are: Lotions: eau fraiche chance & no.5 EDT: eau fraiche chance (3.4oz) EDP: no.5, CM, Allure, coco, coco noir, chance, Gabrielle (all 3.4oz) Body sprays: eau fraiche chance & eau Tendre chance Parfum: Les Exclusifs Beige 0.5oz

I so very much wanted to like this. But it's too sweet.
If it was more powdery, or fresher...
It has something in it that smells nice but it's hidden behind everything else.
I find it gives me dizzyness and a bit of a headache.
They say the Velvet Body Oil smells much better, so I'm going to try that.
I tried the Velvet Body Oil and it's amazing. Everything I wanted to like about Coco Mademoiselle edp and couldn't is there. I tried this after reading about it in Good tip! 5 lipsticks for the oil!

I love, love, love this perfume! I have been wearing it for six years, and tried to find another to add into the mix (because I feel it's good to mix it up after a while), only to be disappointed by everything else. I understand this scent is basic and underwhelming for several people, but the ingredients in Coco Mad. mix very well with my skin. It lasts long and is a perfect balance of "barely there" and overwhelming. My husband has not liked any other scent on me, and has asked on occasion when trying other perfumes, "what happened to that good stuff you always used to wear?" :)

I do love this fragrance... like everyone else, right? lol It's one of the better mainstream designer fragrances available. It's so likeable and universally pleasing its almost magical. I mean, everyone and their mother loves this stuff!

A simple, elegant citrus, patchouli, floral with a nice soft powder lingering softly beneath it all to smooth out any sharp edges. Long lasting. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is because I smell it on every other person that walks by me on the street. So unfortunately I can't call it a favorite. However, I do wear and enjoy it on occasion!

This is my favorite mainstream perfume. I used to think I hated patchouli, but what a fool I was. The patch isn't super-obvious in Coco Mademoiselle, but I pick it up, and it gives the perfume extra depth that makes it interesting and keeps it from smelling like just another generic floriental perfume. The lasting power of the EdP is phenomenal on my skin, and of course the bottle is beyond beautiful. I used up an entire bottle, so I am wanting to replace it when I have the money.

Love this. I think its sexy and feminine. The only thing I will say is it used to last longer on you but now it wears off really quickly.
Its a beautiful timeless perfume though.
Its a treat for myself. I love it.

I wanted to like this, but I think it was because Chanel is classic rather than really loving the scents. I tried it on in store and it smelled nice enough, so I bought it (to be clear, it was the toilette spray). My husband thinks it smells wonderful, but after wearing it a few times, I can't get past the overwhelming masculine notes in the scent. Also the only way I can wear it without sneezing and getting a headache, is to spray once into the air and walk into it. It's just too heavy to apply directly to my skin, and god forbid you spray this one more than once!

Hmmm, as Chanel is so famous for its fragrances this one is not that spcl , it's same like miss Dior or I would say that's more sexy nd attractive, I don't know wat it lacks but not so spcl like can turn everyone's head. Not much strong , soothing nd citrusy. Would go for other perfumes over this
