I admit I only bought this product because it was $3 (now sold for $12). It works fine with my course dry hair although I would have liked it to be more effective at hydrating my hair. I like that it washes clean with no left over residue. The smell is ok too- very "natural" smelling and not flowery and over powering like a lot of drugstore conditioners. Works great as a shaving cream to. Although it worked fine on my hair, the price hike is a bit much. Will continue to look for an inexpensive alternative.

I'm in love w/this & the shampoo. I have fine, colored, dryish, damaged hair. This made my hair so soft. I liked the thickness of it. I will buy again cause my hair just drank it up.

I love this shampoo! It makes my hair really shiny and soft. I usually use different type of shampoo with this conditioner but it always leaves my hair shiny and soft like silk! I have thin hair but alot of it...so i need help in the volume department and this product does not weigh my hair down. On a side note, I purchase this at Whole foods and they have a 100% money back guarantee on any products that you don't love. so it's worth giving a try.

I have thick hair and I always need conditioner on the ends of my hair.this one was a bit to much for me. to nourishing. but its not a bad cond. I've had much worst-do-nothing conditioners. I think, only a bit to heavy for my hair conditions but make them soft. if you dont let it to long in your hair I think it works better, the hair gets softer. if I leave the cond. 2 minutes in my hair I dont feel the softness, but if I wash it out immediatly its much better, softer.try it on that way.maybe I will try the aloe+lavender cond.

The scent of this conditioner was very subtle, but it didn't do jack shit for my hair. The conditioner felt squeaky in my hair; it doesn't even create that thick, slippery feeling like other conditioners do (think Pantene or Matrix Biolage). I understand that this product is supposed to be organic and animal-friendly, but it is definitely not worth the $6.99 price tag. I could pay $0.92 for Suave conditioner at Target and it would still do a better job than this stuff.

along with its matching shampoo, this conditioner smells divine. i bought it from loblaws for approximately $6 after reading about the potential disadvantages of silicones in hair products on the long hair community message boards. it coats the hair and may end up blocking out moisturizing agents from other products that you use. most products from giovanni are also cone-less, as are burts bees. this conditioner smells amazing and leaves my hair very shiny and soft. my hair no longer feels heavy like it did when i used HE's "hello hydration" line. EDIT: ooh this TOTALLY dried out my hair.. i was on a "silicone free" kick and it really didn't work well for me. back to the cones...
