Just like Conair's Hot Sticks, only a billion times better! Yes, the design of both the heating element and the sticks are the same... sorta! The difference is these babies have a ceramic core-- resulting in longer-lasting curl and shine to the hair.I own both the BaByliss brand, as well as Conair's, and I definitely think that the BaByliss hot sticks surpass those made by Conair.I find that my curls don't slip out, and the somewhat magical properties of ceramic help somewhat to remedy my dry-looking, frizzy hair. Unfortunately, the price tag is a bit more than I had expected (£35)... but then again, it's ceramic! I paid £7 for the Conair ones, but the difference in price is worth it to me. the BaByliss Hot Sticks yield better results!
