I don't think I've ever had such strong mixed feelings about a product. I have used it for about 2-1/2 weeks but I'm not sure I'm going to continue using it, except perhaps occasionally. I was immediately struck by how clear this got my pores. My skin was left soft and smooth, and the chronic congestion & redness around my nostrils improved significantly without peeling or irritation. So what was the problem? Weird as it sounds, my SKIN has seldom looked so good while my FACE has rarely looked so bad! Every day I'd get up and look in the mirror and I'd look tired and dragged out. II've been having hormonal issues and feel tired all the time, so I figured my skin was just reflecting that. But man, it was depressing to look so bad. Gradually my skin was getting drier, though, too, so I thought I'd take a break from the Glycolix and use straight avocado oil, which has a really good rating on MUA. Overnight I had a mini hotflash which woke me up and my brain wouldn't shut off, so I am operating on 4-5 hours sleep today. I am dead beat but amazingly, I look fabulous! The one day I really SHOULD look tired, and I don't. My skin is both clear and glowing. Seems Glycolix is not ideal for me, but maybe for someone younger and with oilier skin?

I bought 10% strength as I have very pale, sensitive skin prone to redness. I was really scared to try this, but have heard so many positive benefits of using facial glycolic acid that I finally gave in. Very happy I did. I had absolutely no bad reactions from it. Barely noticeable stinging when I applied it for the very first few times, but after that, nothing. No redness or other adverse effects either. Just smooth, soft skin. I typically follow this with my Jason vitamin E oil, and this combination works wonders on me. Absolutely love it. I only use it once to twice a week as I also use Avene Eluage (retinol product). Iím turning 30 this month, but my skin looks awesome so nobody believes my age. Donít forget to use sunscreen/sunblock after using this at night! Also, price is great on this whole line of products!

I have the 10% glycolic acid facial cream. One of the best. I have dull, dry, acne-prone, uneven skin tone and this one fix them all. I was skeptical at first cause I have tried so many moisturizers and none works for me. Then I bought this from Dermstore. Within 3 days , it improved my skin texture and appearance. My face is clear, smooth, and brightened. I alternate this with my Afirm 2x and i'm very happy with the result. It also helps control my hormonal break-out. It relatively cheap compared to other high end products. You can buy it from Skinwest, they have better price with free shipping. Good luck!

This review is for the Glycolix Elite Facial Cream - 20% Glycolic Acid.I have had great results with this product. The high glycolic acid content may be strong for some, but you can build up from their 10% or 15%. My skin feels so soft after using this. I pair it with a Retinol (Neutrogena Anti-Wrinkle Cream) at night, and in the morning I notice any rough or dry skin sloughs off easily. My blemishes heal much quicker. It doesn't leave my skin greasy or sticky, but it's probably more of a night cream than something to wear under make-up. I can't review it for it's effects on aging skin yet, because I am using it for preventative reasons, but considering the high cell turnover rate I have noticed, it should address issues associated with aging skin. If you have dry or sensitive skin, you may not be able to use the 20% formula everyday. I think this is categorized as a moisturizer on MUA, but I consider it more of a treatment. It also includes Co-Q10, vitamins A, C, and E and Green Tea.I should note that I have acne-prone skin and this does not clog my pores or cause any adverse effects in that regard. In fact, just the opposite. The price runs between $25 and $30 for a 1.6 oz. jar.

I bought the 10% and 20% creams and am working my way up. They make my skin incredibly smooth and silky but somehow don't sting - the first AHA cream I ever tried that doesn't.I have dry, sensitive skin, maturing, that only breaks out if I over-treat it. I'm using this along with renova and so far love it. (Added it after years of using renova so I can see the difference the Glycolix is making.)

This is a great cream for any skin type undergoing any part of the aging process!I have extremely sensitive, acne prone, combo skin. This product impoved my early signs of aging, didn't irriate my skin, and didn't cause a break out. I also gave some of this to my mother (she has post menopausal, sensitive skin). She also had GREAT results with this product & continues to tell people about how magical this cream feels. What more could you ask for?
