Ive been searching for ud naked 3 nooner and stumbled upon haux. It looks very rosey in the pan but on the lid pairing this with sable or satin taupe. [Haux is the matte version of sable] It looks very sophisticated but not trying too hard. Soft and pretty. Wonderful shade that blends well. Its not a must have for me but i do like having it in my collection. I dont reach for this unless im looking for a more rose brown look. I can live without it. 4 lippies because you can get a bruised irritated eye effect if i i put too much on. I have to be careful i have hooded eyes i wish this was lighter in color. I want to try quarry but that one is too purple grey. Haux is nice but its not a must have for me. C1 nc20My favorites are mostly matte warmer browns;Brule, Soba, Cork, Texture, Brown Script, Embark and Ricepaper

I bought this shadow on the recommendation from the MU board when searching for a mauve colored eyeshadow and I'm thrilled to say that the ladies steered me in the right direction! This color is very similar to ABH's dusty rose ES, but haux is more pink and less plum/purple in the undertone, at least on my skin. I've never used any pink shade on my eyes before because I had assumed that with my pale skin and blue eyes it'd make me look sick and it probably would, were I to apply it on the lid, but I use this shade in my crease. This is literally the most flattering crease color I've ever used, it makes the area look shadowed, and not like I'm wearing an obvious color. This, along with Brulè on the lid, Quarry as my transition shade, and Swiss Chocolate on the outer v makes for my best neutral eye look ever. It blends out so beautifully, it's truly a dream to work with. Love, love, LOVE it!!

Love it! Works great with my greenish eyes. As all Mac shadows it is rather stiff and not overly pigmented. This makes it easier to use in my opinion as you apply light layers and build up. Mac shadows also last forever!

This rosy plum eyeshadow makes great young and fresh nude looks on fair skinned people. It can also be applied on the crease and blended with other plums and earthly colors very well. It is similar to quarry, but has better color pay off and it is more pink- ish.

Eight years ago, I tried this and it didn’t look quite as great. I just bought it again and compared it to Quarry. They say this is more pink but I like this better as it is more pigmented and creates a better depth than Quarry. I think for people with medium skin tone, this works better. For some reason, this makes my brown eyes look lighter. It also works perfect in combination with my blush which is in mauve. I use this with shimmery light shadows on the lid and darker shimmery shadows on the outer corner. I use a liquid liner and the whole look is subtle and flattering.

I absolutely love this color. It's a rosy, plummy-brown and looks beautiful paired with other shadows, or on it's own. This is an HG color for me because it's so versatile. It can be used for a natural look, or for a heavy, smokey eye. It can be worn on the lid or the crease; as a wash of color, cut crease, or transition shadow. You create the intensity, and however you use it, it looks fabulous.

I have finished two pans of Haux and will continue on always having it. Although listed as a satin, it does not look shimmery at all, this has more to do with the texture of the powder. It is a rosy medium brown that can be worn alone as a single color, or paired with a darker crease color like Folie. Or go with a shimmer pink on the lid and use Haux as a crease color. Just a versatile color that looks very flattering on the skin and works for a number of looks.

I am so happy with this! I always thought because I had skin with strong yellow undertones (NC30) I should stick to gold, orange, and brown tones on the eyes as well. I had previously been using Saddle as my go-to outer corner/crease for natural looks shade. I was getting really curious about the UD Naked3 look because it seems to have been trendy for a while. I got this single because it was unique to my collection and it would give a rose toned neutral look. I wasn't expecting it to be flattering, I just wanted that rose look. Wow, I am blown away by how pretty this looks and it wakes up my whole face. This is way more flattering on me than Saddle or any warm brown I've tried. It is pigmented and shows up on the lid with one dip in the pan and blends out with almost no effort. Best makeup purchase I've made in a long time!

Haux was a shade I've been wanting to pick up for a while, and I finally caved and bought it, knowing I need more matte/satin eyeshadows to balance out my massive collection of shimmery colors. And I'm so glad I finally got it.These kind of rosey brown shades are right up my alley, and they're my weakness in all different kinds makeup. Lipstick, blush, eyeshadow, whatever, and this sort of color is the first I gravitate towards. I'd describe it as a slightly cool-toned plummy pink brown, that does turn a touch warmer on my light skin with warm undertones. But no matter what your skintone is, I think this is an amazing transition or all-over lid shade. It would also create such a sexy smokey eye if blended out over a smudged-out black eyeliner. It's surprisingly creamy and pigmented, and is truly a "workhorse" color as I've heard it described before. Some other MAC eyeshadows I think it'll look amazing with are the cult classic Satin Taupe, and also Club, Sable, or Girlie.Anyways, if you've been debating this color, you should definitely get it. I was pleasantly surprised by how many good reviews it has, and that was the final factor that enticed me to drop by my MAC store and grab it. Haux is truly a really lovely and versatile eyeshadow.
