I have fair skin with cool, pink undertones. Curtain Call grabs toward a warm, orangey tone on my lips (NOT PLUM or BERRY) as described by other reviews or as in the photo. It is good for about two hours then it fades to a weird orange pink on my lips. It's drying and not very moisturizing! The slight shimmering metallic finish emphasized my dry lips. I can see this shade working for medium or darker skin tones. Given the positive reviews about this lipstick, maybe I purchased a defective or older product.

Got this lipstick in the Lancome 2014 Holiday Beauty Box. It is a very pretty plummy lipstick. It looks great with multiple layers or just lightly bounced on the lips. It creates either a really pretty bold plum lip that is great for winter or a very lovely berry stain. I actually love this as a stain because it creates the perfect "I just ate berries" look. It just looks fresh and natural. Great lipstick to check out if you want something to create a flushed look. Wear time is standard (2-3 hrs) and this does stain if you get it outside of your lips. Feels creamy and does not dry out my lips.

This thing has a beautiful and shimmery berry color. It feels light, has no scent, and lasts. This is my go-to dark shade

Such a beautiful berry shade! It lasts a long time, almost like a stain. I would definitely buy again.

I bought this not too long ago for a night out with my DH for a fancy business dinner we needed to attend. I am very fair, blue-eyed and understated by nature so I stay away from strong colors because -for me- I don't want my lips to be the thing people stare at. I simply like my lipstick to pull my look together and not be the focal point. Anyway, I went to the counter and had an SA help me pick a color. My first inclination was to go for the usual light colors but she said to try this one. I was very skeptical at first because it was so dark and dramatic from my usual choice of sheer colors. Her words - You are blond and need some color in your face. And she was very right. It made my blue eyes look even more blue and made me feel more pulled together. With a simple black dress and my more than usual eye makeup it was a perfect combination. It made me feel very lady-like and polished. I haven't worn it since - no occasion to do so - but I will wear it the next time I go out for something special. I love Lancome in general and buy from them almost exclusively so I am somewhat biased that way.

One of the things I love about Lancome is that they make great lipsticks and nailpolishes in wine and berry shades. Jezebel by Lancome is an all time fave lippie shade of mine and I add Curtain Call a close second. Slightly magenta but mostly a wine plummy shade. Doesn't feel heavy on the lips which is great but the fragrance is a bit much. I'd love it if Lancome would stop heavily fragrancing their products. Other than that great lipstick!

I would never have even looked at this color if it hadn't been for the SA who said this would be beautiful on me. I thought it had a true blue base, but just to appease her I tried it on and am very happy that I did. I am a "warm" complexion with dark green/green teal eyes and this lippie just lit up my complexion and eyes. Lots of compliments when I wear this. I always go for warmer colors, but this is so opposite which is probably why it works. Lovely berry color with a definite hint of fuschia purple to it IMO. It is a good winter color or a great color for night wear (although I have been wearing it when I wear black clothes). Has a nice gleam to it and wears well. Purchased the lip liner that goes with it as well. Very unusual color, and definitely worth checking out for all skin tones.

Great color for all times, ages, personalities, events, and skintones. A sheer berry, wine-red color that is truly classic and chic. This color is fun and modern with a slight shimmer to it (no glitter), but can stand the test of age and time without any trouble. Packaging is signature Lancome, sleek and chic black tube with a color swatch on the bottom (surprsingly enough their beautiful rose emblem is not featured on any of their lipsticks, oh well! It's still gorgerous! Simple, modest, timeless, and elegant. Another favorite of mine (although all of my eyeshadows and lipcolors and frgrances I've bothered to review here are my HG's!)
