Pupa are an Italian brand of makeup that pride themselves on funky, nearly childlike packaging. The Non Conventional Zoo palettes are designed to be a number of furry, square-shaped 'animals'. I have the 'bear' - there is also a zebra, a giraffe, a sheep, a piglet, a rabbit and a few others, I think. If you pull the animal's head, it extends to a small (but rather useless) mirror. If you pull the tail, you get a sliding, double panel that has 10 'pots' of makeup on both sides, for a total of four makeup palettes, or 20 colours. A small eyeliner pencil is hidden in a recess at the top of this panel.

Each side of the makeup panels is a complementing set of colours, with 3x cream lipsticks, 2x glittery creme lipsticks, 3x glittery lip glosses, creme blush (x2), bronzing powder (x1), compact powder (x1), compact eyeshadows (x3), liquid eyeshadows (x5). I think that's an incredible value for money.

Like any palette, the trick is to find the one that has the colours that suit you. I'm a medium-beige, asian girl, so the 'bear' worked best for me, with rose/plum on one side of the palette, and indigo/lightblue on the other side. The makeup is impressively long-lasting, goes on smoothly, and has never made my sensitive skin react badly.

Unbelievably cute packaging that takes up very little space in comparison to the amount of makeup. Very little of the packaging space is wasted. There are no applicators in this set, so you must have your own brushes/applicators or just use your fingers (I'd never do that, but some do!). Highly recommended.
