Nice compact of lip colors. Four stripes of lipcolor in one pan, in a mirrored compact with mini lip brush.

Product - Colors range from a shimmery golden nude, shimmery coral, shimmery pinkish peach, and shimmery reddish peach (this last one looks much darker and redder in the pan than on); overall, warm peachy shades with coral undertones. The shades are all in one pan, so you can run your brush across them all to create your own shade; if it gets muddled, just wipe down the surface to restore the original color stripes. I like using them individually. The colors are not as pigmented as LM's lipstick and glossier than the LM Lip Sheers; kind of like a glossy lipstick, and reminds me of BB Lip Sheers. So, the darkest color is rich in the pan but still quite wearable. The untouched surface has a slightly rough appearance, like a suede finish - but the product texture is creamy and smooth. Feels very nice on the lips, not too glossy, not too heavy, stains lightly.

Packaging - The compact is sturdy but perhaps bigger than necessary in comparison to the pan size (I don't like wasted space). My main gripe about the packaging is that the lid is curved so that these compacts are hard to stack. It's the same size compact as for the LM Mosaic Shimmer Blocs. The mini lip brush is okay, but given the size of the brush well and compact I would have preferred that the brush have a full-size head.

Rating - 5 lippies for the product, 4 lippies for the packaging. I have all of these compacts, love them! continued >>
